Toddler photog72 in backup daycare, check. Dressed for an interview, check. About to rain cats and dogs, check. Humid as pea soup, check. Car parked in garage (to avoid said rain), check. Wish me luck.

Wishing luck to sdm1130 as the rain and storms are supposed to be  along the I-10 corridor today, especially in the afternoon. P.S. Welcome to full-time h:rolleyes:midity.

IIRC, DL has some sort of exclusivity agreement regarding the CozySuites.

I could be wrong, but I thought the agreement covered the J seats only.

I thought it covered both, but I could be wrong, as well.

Good Luck photog72.

sdm1130, be really careful driving on I-10 if it is raining. Parts can flood easily and dont be surprised if you see a couple of wrecks that will back up traffic for miles.

I remember that too, but DL decided against installing them in their Y cabin, so I wonder if that decision negates any exclusivity clause. :-:

If not, then Thompson is pretty dumb to commit to exclusivity and then have their client not buy. Or Delta is dumb to pay for seats to not use them. or something. :-:

Trying to figure out how much pitch they take up and if maybe CO is buying them for the 787.

I cannot believe that CO is doing anything other than 3-3-3 so with the 192 Y seats and the cabin size I think something funky might be going on. I finally found this doc (page 12 has dimensions that are somewhat useful) so now I'm trying to map the rest of the cabin interiors out to figure out if there will be E+, at all decent pitch or something else strange going on.

From that doc you link, seating capacity: 224 THREE-CLASS; 12 FIRST CLASS, 42 BUSINESS CLASS, 170 ECONOMY CLASS (SEE SEC 2.4)

Am I missing something, or if the F space were reverted to Y, wouldn't the total Y then be in the 192 ballpark?

But CO's announcement also indicated 36 in J, not 42. Delete the 12 in F and the 6 in J and there probably is room for fudgery of some sort.

Fiance and I just got upgraded for tomorrow. This is the way to start off vacation! Thank you elite status!

FT Lurker Jun 7, 2010 9:29 am

Does anyone know if UA has the same 24-hour cancellation rules as CO?

My bad. I didn't realize that DL had decided not to go with the CozySuites.

Don't think so. They used to and IIRC they nixed it a year or two ago.
