Awaiting an awesome storm here - it is very dark and the wind is crazy. We could use the rain to water all the stuff we planted all weekend.

I chipped one of my front teeth today (drinking beer ) - so a trip to the dentist tomorrow is already on the books.

We are spending next weekend in SAT - any suggestions?

Where in SAT? Several fun things to do there if you've never been before. Not so much if you've been more that a couple of times.

Fri/Sat nights at the Westin, then move to the JWMarriott on Sunday. I fly out to EWR early Monday and the s/o stays for a conference.

I have been to SAT once many years ago, and the s/o has never been there, so other than the Alamo and the riverwalk - we have no plans as of yet.

How are your "travels" at SEATAC?

Well after two solid weeks of riding AS like donkey, they have decided to stop overbooking my money flights.

We're flying into JAX instead of SAV because it's almost $200 cheaper pp.

What's frustrating to me lately isn't that PHL is a better option than the NYC airports - it's that PHL is coming up as much better priced than WAS airports (including BWI).

That's not the worst problem to encounter ;)

I just took a walk to go to the ATM to deposit some checks. I am proud of myself for not getting in the car to perform said task.

Same kind or choice?

Coupon said the same but the promotions manager walking around the tables said the store wouldn't care. And I do like Chick-Fil-A sandwiches ...

Wow - of all the ways I've chipped teeth, drinking a beer wasn't one of them. Some of them may have been the result of drinking beer.

Hope your appointment is uneventful.

Perhaps they've recognized when you purchase a ticket, they should stop selling seats?

Do yall like amusement parks? There is a great one on the north side of town. For shopping, there is North Star Mall or The Quary. If you want to go shotting let me know! Went to a 40th birthday for a friend that was in a city park and had shotgun range!! Mi Tierra is a must and the market is next door if you want something with that southwest feel and look. You could drive up to Greune for wine and tubing. Try to make a stop at the original Rudys in Leon Springs. Besides that there is the Bonham Exchange in downtown that you must see!! :) Lots of fun activity!! I have a family friendly yellow pages here if there is something else you are looking for in particular.

Dealing with UA on a reward ticket is a pain. They are saying I can haz a ticket from A-B-C because A-B is longer than A-C! What the hell. On second agent and talking with supervisor now. CO will ticket no problem. UA bloacking perhaps?

I know, I know  But in true Box-fashion - it involved alcohol... so it makes it ok, right? @:-)

I did a end of day look at my horiblescope and I gave up on the task a few hours ago because the airlines have decided they want to make money for a change.

It's time you had some fun. Crack into your rainy day fund and bankroll a getaway

I don't have any overalls to find - I'm curious as to why you might have overalls but don't want to ask.
