Just wondering - which milestone will be reached first on this thread?

200,000 posts?

Or 2 million views?

Cheers,

We are spending next weekend in SAT - any suggestions?

Did you use your tooth to open the bottle?

Do you want things to do; restaurant suggestions, etc. for SAT? Are you staying on the Riverwalk?

Cheers,

We run close to the 10:1 ratio...it'll be close. But when the time comes my guess is that the PWP will take over and the post will hit first.

Fri/Sat nights at the Westin, then move to the JWMarriott on Sunday. I fly out to EWR early Monday and the s/o stays for a conference.

I have been to SAT once many years ago, and the s/o has never been there, so other than the Alamo and the riverwalk - we have no plans as of yet.

Tower of the Americas.

That just means yours are prettier than mine! ;)

It'll almost certainly be the posts. Since about 100M, the ratio of posts to views has stayed over 10 percent. Someone who has had stat a few decades more recently than I could tell you the exact formula for test of proportion, but the square root of the number of trials enters in, and I'm pretty sure that a null hypothesis p <= 0.10 would be rejected.

Now, another question is why would I have been watching this ratio in the first place.

Regarding that sinkhole, if that picture is not doctored up, no way the sewer is to blame; the ruptured sewers are probably those little black lines running down the sides of that thing. That is just very weird.

It's not the sewer and that's my professional opinion. Soft spot of lime stone and a deep underground stream.

I seem to recall stumbling out of Pat O'Briens after a number of Hurricanes and seeing the Alamo spinning. Not sure if it ever happened.

The only good thing is IDB and VDB will sometimes match if you VDB and there is an IDB the airline typically matches.

I have had that luck too.

Drink coupons are hit or miss domestically, in fact CO 1E has mentioned that he had issues when flying international with *G.

To SBM12, would not a domestic ticket with BMI give you international benefits as you are on an international iternary from the airline of origin?

That would make the dark area at the bottom water of enough depth that all the earthen material is now below its surface?

And, speaking professionally, just how in the hell would one go about fixing something like that?

There is one on the street by the Alamo!

County Line BBQ is a good BBQ place on the river walk too.

Watching Bachelorette. Very interesting show. Some hot men on there!! I may need to move to Houston to check out the weather (man) more often!!

Scott6067 May 31, 2010 7:59 pm

Interesting. The editor of the Bachelorette did a bad job. At the end of the show, they showed that Jonathon had a rose even before he was given it.
