She doesn't watch many of the unscripted shows, but is hooked on the Bachelor(ette). Normally, I'm not in the room, but I guess tonight is special.

...shooting the calendar that will be Scott6067's birthday present.

I spent my toddlerhood living in SAT while my dad was stationed at Lackland but haven't been back since. It would be fun to go sometime (in addition to the Alamo and Riverwalk, I can see if the apartment complex we lived in is still there).

That would make a nice calendar gift for me!! That gives me a great idea for the shoot!! me in a lie flat seat semi reclined with 10 of COs finest FAs on all sides with drinks and food!!

WOW. Your secret? I would love to get rid of 20 pounds and at least be able to complete a half marathon by wedding time (next July). It doesn't feel like any of the work I've been putting in in the last couple months has done any good, though. :(

:D because you would prefer 1" or 5"?

Ordered, waiting on arrival.

Are you supposed to be looking at them - never mind actually pulling the trigger on one - 12 months out? Maybe my mother's insistence that we pick out bridesmaids' dresses this summer isn't too far off the mark. I thought she was completely nuts and figured I'd start actively looking in the late fall and get serious after Christmas...oh boy.

That's why I can't watch "reality" television programming.

Give it a few more episodes and she will be saying that several times per episode while not referring to their personalities.

Hi Box. Back in CLT after a great weekend in Asheville NC at the Mountain Sports Festival. Good music, decent food, and some fun free clinics. I partook in the kayaking and rock climbing ones.

Thank you to all those who have served and sacrificed, and to their families.

I don't know if there are sufficient adult beverages in my home to watch some of these programs.

Thanks. :) Feels good to be losing weight and debt at a pretty good clip.

My secret has largely been general life overhaul. We cook smaller and leaner than my mother ever did for me, I got rid of soda (I'm down to drinking soda about once per six weeks) and of half and half (switched to skim across the board -- cooking, cereal, coffee) and I hustle at work despite covering short distances. When my valets are putting cars in the lots, I move the driveway traffic by running between the cars and shuttling them forward. If it gets busy, I pitch in and play valet attendant and run while doing so.

I'd like to have her approach my height when I have to look into her eyes at the altar. She is 5'7" and I am a hair over 6'3".

I don't know. She tells me what she's doing and I say "Yes, dear". She's always been an ahead-of-the-curve, super-prepared type person. Financial hawk that she is, she also cites longer-range planning as a creator of flexibility in between deposit and payment due dates.

She did just ask me when your date was. I answered and she said you should be getting started for yourself, but not so much for the girls. She is all-knowing at this kind of stuff.

Dang. I got sucked into a "discussion" about dirty planes on the AA board. I guess that clean planes are more of a priority than on-time flights.

Speaking of reality shows I saw a "coming after the break" preview for bridzila and all I can say about that bride is that lifelong single and abstinence would be the preferable option.

Forgot to mention: one of my valets is (was) on his honeymoon this week. They had Jamaica scheduled, and they flew down only to be booted from teh resort after one night. Violence-inspired removal of all Americans. The Mom is scheduled into MBJ on Thursday; we'll see how that goes.
