She got in to ATL around 2am. I am going to fetch her from DCA now. At least they gave her a hotel voucher for the Westin ATL, for the four hours she got to sleep.

Too bad the time lapse was so long!! IE 24 hours before the next flight to put her on. I saw too late that DL had a 174 one-way that she could have taken this afternoon! Would have made for a good investment.

I was just talking to one of my grad school buddies yesterday who was on his way to the parents' house in CAK and bemoaning the general :rolleyes: in ATL...he mentioned that FL award availability was fairly useless, but I don't know if DBCFREEs would be similar.

I've found that they're especially good for helping out family and friends who don't have to worry about EQMs...or for those necessary trips where the airline wants to charge you close to four digits for a short hop or two in an E145 or Dash 8 (such as the less-than-3-day stay or anything involving HVN or HHH, for instance). In any case, could have been a lot worse, for sure.

Try Copenhagen. Hot dogs are a national past time of sorts and there are carts all over town. They are also some of the less expensive food you can find. I was not pleased with mine.

Pretty cheap here too that one I have in the pic was 6CNY but some as low as 1, that is about 15 cents...

They are even at fine dining places like I ate tonight, I was surprised to see them being served on one plate!

Just watch Amelia. Not a bad movie if you are into the story line. Not a good movie if you are there just for the show. I did an eigth grade history project with friends about her and the disaperance. The radio scene in the movie was part fo the video that we made for the video back in the 80s. Very cool to see that on film!!
