I just checked my hotel reservation for later. It indicates that we are upgraded to a suite. Thanks SPG.

[EWR-ALB is about an hour late. Boarding soon fortunately. Bored out of my mind, and FT is slow tonight (it is a Friday, I guess...).

Driving to Cooperstown tomorrow morning with my dad. Albany is just a stop on the journey. |

Does a Matrix have one of those zippers that lets it expand?;)
It was actually a pretty nice car, suspension ahead of its time (one of the first quattro drives), thermostatically controlled seat heaters, and even, as my somewhat learning disabled cousin used to say, a rear window defrogger. |
To the Houstonians in the Box: what sort of home would $350,000 buy me down there?

Go outside of the loop and, in some areas, you can get a 5-6BR home on a few acres. Are you thinking of moving to Houston? |

Thinking about that Audi reminds me of a Colo connection trivia question posted the other day regarding a plate "EX-ZG." No one responded, and it's slow here, so here's the (hey, it is travel-related) answer.
Until about 2000, CO had county specific license plates. Beginning of the alphabet was Denver and surrounding, but many rural counties (and also rental cars) started with Z. Pitkin Co, Aspen, was ZG. To this day you can still buy tea shirts and such with ZG on them in Aspen, as well as on those silly European-style country code ovals that ruin your car's paint. And, since, like CA, you can transfer a plate if in continuous use, there are still SUV's driving around with plates like ZG-347. See one of those, and you know they've been around Pitkin for a very long time. Edit: For instance... |
