Welcome to my .

Just when I think I don't have a prayer at Pres. Plat. I get a nice $1,800 fare shoved down my .

Rewards or Q-UPs are the only sane options for holiday travel.

I'm liking shifting Hyatt to my secondary program. I still intend to keep SPG as my primary. The points are too valuable, and they keep nice hotels in tons of interesting locales.

Right now, Hyatt is my primary & SPG is my secondary! I am intent on attaining Hyatt Diamond through Feb 2012 (will have completed my 15 nts by July or so)!^ Then I figure that I can status-match, if needed, to other programs!;)

My holiday travel in recent years has been via Subaru elite.

The only sane way to travel over the holidays, in my mind, is to locations where my family isn't. Or, not travel at all.

Yes -- Bah Humbug.

After a great evening dinner of dinner and drinks, I witnessed a purse snatching on the walk home. A few Good Samaritans pursued the perp, but to no avail. I gave up after two blocks of sprinting.

When I got home, I booted. :(

Time to start working out.

Good Morning, Box.

I have a comment regarding guns here, but will refrain :)

Basically AUS is the worst place to begin and end reward travel and I've been looking for months on ways to get from JFK down there.

Originally I was on JFK-CLT-IAH/overnight/IAH-AUS and that just struck me as stupid. Now I'm on JFK-SFO-RNO-PHX-AUS.

The JFK-SFO-IAD-AUS would be all on UA in F.

I'm trying to get my wife and I back from Europe. We're coming in on LX ZRH-JFK.

The plan now is to do a stopover in NYC and spend a few days in the city. So I'm fine leaving from any of the airports but of course CO doesn't have EWR-AUS F available.
