I should also note that I did sign a CC voucher but totaled it out for the original cost of the move for $2,800 and not the $4,100 that they want.

So the moving dilemia continues:
Got a call at about 11 am today and was lectured to by the owner of the moving company that I used that it was my fault and that I was a bad customer for the way I dealt with them. Basically the move comes down to the fact that my estimated number of boxes was under what was needed to be moved. I agree to that. I do however feel that in the process, I was advised either verbally or in writing that if the cost of the move would change that I would know prior to the physical moving of my items and not once the items were in the truck and half way here. The gentleman speaking to me, owner of the company, was in my opinion very rude and I would for sure never take my business back to him or his company. Ironically, I made the complaint about the cost of the move on May 19th and didn't hear anything from them till I filed a complaint with my CC company about the cost of the move. I do have a signed CC voucher for the original estimate and no other signed CC voucher for additional costs. WWTBD? The way I understood the situation to happen was I was to be told in advance of the move of an additional charges. |

Everyone knows what the impact is going to be. Shouldn't they save their money so they have it to help the folks find new jobs?
