Waiting for bankofamerica.com...

Oh, there it is.

And of course the information provided is incomplete. Fun times.

I flew on one of the new 753's friday, they have a VERY NICE cutout in 1AB.

It wasn't just shoe tip length, I was able to get my feet entirely under and to touch the end of the cutout had to point my toes all the way out forward and even then barely reaching. 1A got his backpack all the way under and still had room for his feet too.

Sub 65 though and I get angry.

I like that: "I have yet to thaw out." I should use that response to people who ask me "why do you dislike the cold so much? you grew up in CLE..." :p

Mmm, sausage.

That said, I've never experienced regular bitter cold as a fact of life so I'm probably biased, but getting warm has never been a problem for me (my Indian name is Whale Who Walks) so I've always preferred cold over hot. I've also spent too much time in the damn desert.

I got the worst of both worlds: even at my best I'm the last thing from thin, but I'm perpetually cold. Maybe it's a circulation issue. Or maybe I just inherited my core temperature from my mother, who IS tiny, and grew up in BKK/MNL...she hates the cold even more than I do. Amazing that she survived four years of Cornell. :)

Any updates on a BOX golf DO this summer?

Mrs. Mackie grew up in PHX and so anytime it's cooler than about 85 she's reaching for a sweater. Maybe it is environmental; but then how does that explain how I, who grew up perilously close to The Pit, hate the heat and long for the cool days of winter? Perhaps it's a one-sided kind of thing.

Or people who like heat are broken. Either way. ;)

I think more of the focus is on the Soccer DO in mid-June right now; and then there is the Great Austin Beer Festival in late June.

I'm happy to play with the idea of a nonflying golf Do. There's the course that my wedding reception will be held at. Decently convenient for the EWR crowd, and certainly closer than the ACY-area course from Box Golf 1.0.

I really want to do BHM, but it's just not in teh cards with a wedding coming up.

Meeting I have on my calendar for tomorrow is actually next Tuesday. Had I know that I would have booked much earlier this morning back when inventory wasn't an issue.

In case anyone needs a friendly banker in NYC, I found a really cool guy who didn't even question my motivation and was peachy with it.

Will he take phone calls?

Would love to know how they pulled that off, has never worked for me.
But that sealed the deal for them

For a weekend in San Diego, should I bother checking out Tijuana for a few hours?

though it sounds like you've decided against it, I would go for a few hours-take the trolley down. Eat some street food and go see some ja-lai
