This happened to my wife and I back in Jan or Feb. We went out for dinner to our favorite Italian place and it was gone. :( Went to 2 other places and struck out (one changed hands and another moved, but it looked like it closed). Ended up going to New Brunswick and getting a table at a nice Steakhouse w/o reservations.^ Pretty :-::-::-:

Nope. Diane Keaton lecture/Q&A.
These things are not known for being heavy tip nights, but given the larger volume is hopefully a sign of good to come. My fortune cookie said the wheel of good fortune is speeding in my direction. |

Greetings from the SQ F lounge in MNL. This airport is such a dump, it's beyond words.
I got nervous about yesterday's MUC closure, so I changed my flugs to connect via FRA instead. Will be losing two new lines because of it, so I'm a bit upset. At least I will get another 744 flight and use the FCT again. Now to see if I can manage to drink two bottles of 2000 Dom on my SQ flight. |
FCT is fairly crowded right now.

Good Morning box. Off to work I go.
I feel like I was punched in the face this morning. I hope this feeling goes away with some Motrin. |
Morning Box. I see it's working again.

What irks me more than anything else (at least, for the moment) is that "vested," in my book and according to most reputable dictionaries, means "absolute right of possession." So if my employer is going to state that on X date you are "vested," then, as far as I am concerned, on X date my employer should hand over that which has "vested," and not on some date that is convenient or reasonable to the employer. To do otherwise is contrary to what "vesting" means.
However, if you're vesting stock is by value (e.g. you're getting $10K worth of stock no matter what) it shouldn't matter what the price is and it's better for you since you received more shares a a depressed price. |

Yeah, that resort is very pricey. I can't get it below $284 a night. That said, the Marriott Rivercenter is $159 on AAA which is a very good rate considering what they normally charge for that property. I would call the property directly and ask what they would charge on AAA rate for room 3310; it is a room on the 33rd floor that has a balcony that is larger than the room itself. It looks down onto the Riverwalk and the rest of downtown, very cool. I got this room for my in-laws as part of the plat upgrade last Christmas.

I have a friend that works for the Be An Angel Foundation in Houston and they are working on receiving a 50K grant from Pepsi for a barrier free playground for children in wheelchairs. It would be great if you could vote for their program. The information can be found here! Thanks in advance for any support that you can give.
