PDA Check-in after EUA bug

If you receive an EUA (but perhaps haven't seen the email yet) and subsequently check in on the PDA site, you're asked whether you want an upgrade. If you say, "yes" the site gets stuck on that page - the one asking. You have to say, "no" in order to proceed. I'm hopeful that saying, "no" didn't affect the check-in for the return flight as well (as in take one off the list).

I've complained about this before, and see it's still not fixed.

Is it too much to ask to include the actual flight number and time in the FareLock confirmation email?

I usually want to nab a decent fare and then forward this email to coworker(s) to see if there's agreement on the exact time of the flight. As it stands now, the FareLock confirmation email is completely useless and I need to copy/paste from my reservations and compose a new email. Pain in the ....

If it's just coordination, why not book the fare and then refund within 24 hours if it doesn't work out?

I ahve 2 itineraries that I took a few weeks ago and 2 segments on Colgan Air have not posted to ym OP account yet. I went to CO.o.l. and entered the ticket numbers as requested, and it says that they cannot find the ticket numbers and/or they are invalid. It is ticketed through UA, but I added my OP number to the flights and the mainline segments posted within 24 hours, but these Colgan segments have not. They don't start with -005 (they start with 016), so how would I go about requesting credit?

Unable to ticket at this time

Greetings all. Twice today I have been told by Continental I could not proceed to charge a ticket for no apparent reason. Heading to United I was able to ticket the exact same itinerary with no problem using the exact same credit card info. First two flights are CO metal, remainder UA.

Now, I HAVE been doing a dance trying to defer final ticketing until my spouse's commitments are finalized. Since I wasn't given the option of holding the fare, this has involved making and canceling similar reservations three days in a row (during which time I might add the prices have jumped around considerably).

Is it conceivable that CO won't sell to me because they know I have essentially the same itinerary already bought on UA? Or am I being paranoid here? When I did it in reverse, e.g. buy on UA but before canceling tickets on CO, there has been no problem. Maybe CO.com is just having a bad day? (but why take it out on me!) Could it have anything to do with the fact that UA advertises a price match? Thanks for any intelligence.

I'm always amused by the warning CO.com gives you when you use Multi-City search. If I plug in LAX-EWR for Option one and EWR-RIC for option two it gives me a warning in red at the bottom saying "This itinerary departs from LAX and arrives RIC". Well yeah...that's what I asked it to do!

I think paranoid. I don't think .bomb is sophisticated enough to let CO know you bought a ticket already, and I doubt CO.com would care anyways. $$$ is $$$ Did you call web support?

I was just filing a customer care report, and in the description box it would not allow me to submit the text with "special characters" ...of which there were none. I tried and I tried, and then deleted two periods together ".." and it worked. I did not know that periods were special characters.

Is Auto Checkin still available?

I don't fly as much anymore so I probably missed it but my last few flights I have noticed there is no Auto Checkin option? Can anyone confirm it is no longer available?
Thanks,
CLEHillbilly

Looking at the new guide to United Clubs on CO.com they seem to have left off some information when combining ex-UA Clubs. For example, the details for the former RCC at EWR just says for location "Gate level, beyond Security"

Booked a trip on a 738 IAH-SFO, and the fare information shows:

Y9, YN9, B9, M9, E9, U9, H9, HN9, Q9, V9, W9

Funny to see that there are no F class seats listed at all on a 738.

Revenue for Presidential Platinum

Hello all,

The Onepass activity page used to report revenue so you could see how close you are to Presidential Platinum, but it has been gone for a while now.

Is there a way to find out where I sit in terms of revenue progress? Are they even awarding Presidential Platinum with the pending release to the new combined program?

Thanks in advance!

Presidential Platinum will not be a tier in the new, 2012 MileagePlus program. The highest tiers will be Premier 1K (100,000 miles or 120 points/segments), and higher than that, Global Services. (I think that's one of the reasons why they removed the revenue info from your OnePass account information.)

GS has no official qualifications, and is invite-only. It seems from other threads that to get GS, you need at least $50K on full fares (F, J, C, D, Y, B).

Try reading this (long) thread, and posting questions about GS there: United Global Services Status (Qualification, Benefits, etc.) [Merged]

And of course, welcome to FT!!

Most likely sold out in F.
