Most of my future reservations seat maps have blank spaces for any ELS / exit row seats that are not already taken. In effect, the system now does not allow any change of seat to a different exit row seat, or picking an exit row seat now if I didn't already have one (for a platinum elite) as it has in the past.
One of the segments (Manila-Guam for May) shows what is supposed to be a 738 seat map, but is either an 735 or 73G map (the one with two-seat pair as the first exit row). This is apparently with the updated numbering for Row 20 as exit row, and is the only one of my reservations that does have the unoccupied exit row seats showing. |
Been a bit confused searching reward inventory the last few days. Playing around with EWR-LON (all airports) 9/17/10 (return date unimportant as far as I can see). Lookng for BF ONLY.
Signed in as Plat, I see EasyPass BF only for all non-stops and some connecting flights. Searching while NOT signed in, there are no Easypass BF awards available for any of the non-stops, but I am getting Standard BF award availability for a Virgin Atlantic connecting flight (but still no EasyPass) that doesn't even show up under the Plat search. As a matter of fact, even the whole monthly calendar (Sept 2010) under Plat shows nothing but Standard Coach (not Standard BF), yet the calendar when NOT signed in shows smatterings of Standard BF availability. What gives? Robin |
737-700 Exit Row Seat Maps not showing available
On the 737-700 aircraft, the available seats in exit rows (12/14 - future 20/21do not show as available - even though they are. Seats 14A and 14F do show correctly, 12B/C/D/E and 14B/C/D/E do not show as available.
Logged in as Platinum and just viewing the seatmap for non-purchased ticket. Other aircraft all seats in the exit row are ELR seats so they all show just like 14A/F on the 737-700. Once a ticket is purchased - the seats are selectable and show (12B/C/D/E and 14B/C/D/E). These seats are not ELR seats but they should still show for an Plat/Gold Elite before ticket purchase (they do after ticket purchase). |
Waitlisting reward segments online
It would be a great "enhancement" if we could add waitlisted segments ourselves, rather than calling into the OnePass Service Center.
Perhaps this could be folded into the booking process, or simply an option after ticketing. |
Also, some *A reward flights are posting weird info for aircraft, meals, etc. I just purchased a reward reservation, and here's what the UA flights look like when I pull up the reservation online:
http://i40.tinypic.com/15qddvo.png The aircraft is listed as "UA 6" and the meals are listed as "4" and "6". |
where is my OnePass #?
Has anyone else had ths issue:
OnePass numbers does not show up in record, go to edit passenger details. Given the option to enter OnePass number so I do so. Back to view reservation and the number did not stay in the record. I call helpdesk and I am told the number has been in there since I purchased. I am told "No need to worry" I am worried becasue for one thing I cannot select any premium seating and I am hoping to see an upgrade if it become available. If the numbers appears to the agent when I call but not there on co.com is there a reason to worry? |

Booked 2 reservations, 8 legs total; seat assignments didn't stick for 6 of those legs.

Waiting to see if a BF upgrade award clears waitlist (FRA-IAH). Continental.com says it hasn't cleared, I'm in seat 20D. pda.continental.com says seat 2D. System error or cleared upgrade?

It seems that, since the "extra legroom" sale began, that my pre-selected exit row seats on RJ's are removed before OLCI. I had a flight IAH-ELP earlier this week, and my usual 12A was bumped, and since I was cerrying on luggage, I didn't check-in until late and someone grabbed my seat. Well, I woke up early this morning and checked in for the return ELP-IAH, and again I was bumped out of 12A on a COEX ERJ

777 seats 44C and 44J
The newest seat maps for the 777 (old BF seat configuration) now show a box for seats 44C and 44J - which do not exist.
For the new BF layflat seat configuration they do not show - which is correct. |
