Noticed some afternoon maintenance and now it seems that the seatmaps are not working (seat map opens but seats are not displayed).
EDIT: Looks like schedule changes were loaded, check y'all's itineraries. 2nd Edit: Seatmap for my booked itinerary still seems broken, can't pick seats, no map come up. |
I have a mixed airline flight coming up with the first outbound segment not being a CO or any *A flight, which connects to a CO flight on the second leg. Why can't CO let us do OLCI separately just for the CO flight even if the first flight in the itinerary is not operated by Continental?

Redeye Booking
Why can't a search engine come up with the logic that if I am requesting a midnight flight on Friday morning, 11:45 PM on Thursday night is just as good. The logic that CO's search engine uses presents Friday night as an option, not Thursday night, meaning that if you are searching for a redeye flight, you have to search both Thursday night and Friday morning separately? Does it have to be so complicated???

Something strange EUA's done Alphabetically?
Just wanted to bring this to someones attention. Maybe there is a glitch in the automatic upgrade system?
I do understand how the priority in the EUA are processed but this isnt the first time this has happened to me. It seems that the EUA for Co1500 for 3/10/10 happened alphabetically. At this time (4:09) The only people on the upgrade stand by list had a last name that begins with "W". No on who was upgraded had a last name that started with lower than "S or T". I will try to paste a screen shot here. I was #1 for upgrade (Plat) on this flight, checked in #5 at 3:38 exactly, and yet someone ( who checked in at 4:02) got the last open seat in BF. After someone changed seats from 3a to 1b I was on the phone with a Co Supervisior while this occurred, and they saw it also. This is the Third time this has happened to me I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else ? Maybe this has to be brought to the attention of the web people? |

"Premium Platinums are upgraded first by fare class hierarchy (M, H, K, Q, U, V, G, W, E, S, T, N, L) and then by the time they were placed on the list." |
That is exactlly why I checked in as early as I was allowed to since this has happened to me before. I know that the fare class is more important and according to the supervisior I should have gotten the seat. The person who did get the open seat, last name began with "K" so I think the system is ignoring Metal level for alphabetical order
Just pointing out that it needs to be looked at by the programmers. |
discrepency in upgrade offer page...
Paid upgrades discrepancy between the upgrade link at the top of the reservation and upgrade offer below.
In my case, if I click the offer banner below the displayed reservation I'm shown both miles (waitlist) and buy-up for cash offers. If I click the upgrade reservation link above the displayed reservation I only see the mileage offer (also waitlist only). Also, the displayed banner offer seems to be based on the status of the person logged in, not the status of the person for whom the PNR is for, if not oneself. |
PDA site shows exit rows booked full for both segments of my Monday 3/15 CLE-IAH-SAT flight, even though exit row seats show as available in Seat Selector function.
Not sure if this is a bug or a "feature" of the new "extra legroom" seat sales. |
pda site formats poorly on a BB 9700
Screen resolution higher==> fonts appear smaller. Even in column view, the type is illegible without zooming in a couple of times. Really slows things down.

Extra Legroom FAQ, last two bullet items don't expand properly in FF 3.6 or IE8.
http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...y/legroom.aspx "kiosk" misspelled in this sentence: You can revisit the check-in process at continental.com or at an airport kisosk to select a seat to purchase if one is available. |
Any recourse for being rescheduled 20 hrs after cancelled flight?
Honestly, I can't believe it. My teen son arrived in Newark from Seattle to find out that the second leg of his trip to Boston on Continental was canceled. After waiting in line for two hours, he was rescheduled on a flight more than 20 hours later. He had no idea what he was supposed to do, and he wasn't offered a hotel or meaningful advice. He's not an experienced traveler and he couldn't reach me until later. By that time most of the airport hotels were full. We got him into the Penn State Hilton at a rate of $209 plus tax.
What would you have done differently? We feel burned. |

posting this even in the Penalty Box.
Really? The best advice is for the kid to make sure he's on standby for each flight between now and the one he's confirmed on, or to just hang out and wait for the confirmed flight. With the weather in the NYC area the past few days there were a ton of flights that did not operate. It happens sometimes. |
When I go to the My Account page and click on View All Reservations, I do not get all my reservations as I used to.
|
I've noticed in the past couple of days the inability to do a search by schedule even if that is selected. I only get sorting by fares.
