Please include the flight departure and arrival times in the initial Continental Itinerary Confirmation email that is sent immediately upon booking a reservation. I frequently need to forward my itinerary to others at the company, and having to wait for the official receipt email to show up a couple hours later with all the info is a pain.

Booked flight tonight CLE-EWR-CDG during website maintenance window - site extremely slow. After waiting eons, got TWO confirmation emails, different res numbers, but very close in sequence (first 4 "random" letters matched!) ... and no I didn't double-click or refresh anything, I'm a web developer, I know better than that :D

Tried to cancel bogus res which had no seats assigned, but system timed out with "Gateway Timeout - The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server."

Will check again tomorrow when system is operating normally and make sure I didn't buy two tickets to France instead of one !

Like I have a chance in hell of pulling it off, I'm trying to book a F award trip from FLL to some remote Pacific island over Thanksgiving week.

After putting in the city pairs, co.com returns the following message for just about any destination in Micronesia that I enter...


Continental or its partners serve these cities but do not publish schedules or fares between them. It may be possible to construct an itinerary using two separate fares by calling 1-800-300-1547.
Is this an error (as I suspect) or just by design?

I have tried various pages with some pages OK and others coming back "error"

Hours posted on the website for the ATL PC are incorrect. Was there on Wednesday at 7pm expecting it open until 8:30pm but doors were locked. IIRC, the sign on the door says M-W closes at 6:45pm.

On this flight - shows booked 4, but 6 seats are assigned. Originally booked 4, then 2 upgrades processed and the booking remained at 4? Seats can be blocked, but then they should be reflected in the Booked quantity.

The auto check-in feature on co.com did not work for me or my travel mate this evening. We are both on CO1077 tomorrow PHL-IAH. We did not receive a check-in email and had to manually check in on co.com

[Update: Now the main site is hosed and the PDA site is OK.... guess someone is doing something]

PDA site - upgrade and flight standby lists not showing booking info... shows at the main www site... for example, on the main site one sees:

When searching flights out of EWR, U.S. Helicopter logo and search tip appears.

"Search tip: To use US Helicopter service between Newark and Manhattan, select the Wall Street (JRB) or Midtown Manhattan (TSS) heliport."

I was just going to post the same thing. The Booking info for F on the upgrade standby list is not showing consistently. The co.com site is.
You need to go out to something else and keep trying to get the booking number and checked in number to show on the PDA site.

RSS feed wayback machine...
 
The RSS feed available on the news and offers page (http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...OPPROMOFEATURE) links to long gone promos.

For example, the third item in the list ... bold none the less:
"Find your next reward flight at 10% Off"

Would be nice but for the 2004 expiration date.

As an aside, I understand the complexity of implementing this, but if you're going to do a news and offers RSS feed, it'd be nice to include targeted offers.
