Some of us are getting mailers for 65K/$2K, so maybe 65K is the new maximum bonus.

There are also 75K/$5K mailers going around

Personal? Or business only? Apparently that matters.

Interesting. Again, when I requested the match to 75k, the rejection letter specifically said "The 75,000 mile offer is for business accounts".

It's a business mailer.

I actually was denied a 75K bonus match for a business card app last month. This was before I received the 75K mailer so I don't know if there wasn't a 75K offer when I applied/ asked for a match or the match denial was for another reason. I sent another SM for 75K bonus match and still waiting for a reply (snail mail).

After reading this post I thought the 75K mailers might be personal as while we receive a lot of personal mailers every month or so we have never received a business mailer so I wasn't sure if business mailers came in the quantity referred to below.

"Just got a few dozen of the new 75k/$5k/5mo offers with 6/15 expiration this week. Glad this offer has been renewed because it's so much easier than getting a match these days especially when you're helping family and friends"

I think so too. I got a rejection on a 2nd personal card where I requested 75k.

On the first one I ended up requesting 65k over chat and the agent seemed said he would request it -- let's see if I get it. I just got the rejection for the 2nd card today... I'm going to see what happens with the first one before I decide what to do with the 2nd one. But 65k may be the new 75k, at least for personal cards.

Reusing mailers

There was a post a couple of weeks back about reusing mailers, so I just tried a mailer code I used a couple of months ago and it brought up the application page. This was a 3/15/2019 expiration. Given how much better the 65K $2K mailers are (6/15 expiration), I used one for my wife just now but when I tried to bring the application up a second time it failed (reenter your information). So it seems like it may be something limited to the 3/15 mailers.

DP: Successful app this morning using a 3/15 mailer 60K/$3000. I called in about an hour after submitting my app (and getting the "7 to 10 day wait" response) and asked if she needed any additional info and she did the standard 'send an IM code thing'. To me, the most significant point is that for the last couple of apps (45 and 90 days ago) they required me to send in actual financial info showing our income...not this time.

Why did you call in if you got approved?

Sorry, not initially approved, the call was to expedite things. I corrected the post.

See my posts above. I've gotten 2 "yes"s on 60->65 but of course the actual points are pending.

And I just tried a 60->65 request on a 3rd card where the response was, "I will go ahead and raise a request for you to match this offer. You may expect to get the confirmation within a week." which seems encouraging at least.

I received 3 letters in response to those 3 requests. 2 said "we're adding 5k" (from 60 to 65) and the 3rd said "you were not solicited for this offer".

It took longer than I expected but I finally got a mailer with a nine digit code. 65k, 2k spent fist 4 months. At first I was just getting the emails. Excited to get another AA bonus for upcoming trip.
