What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.

Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).
What are the best current Ink Plus offers?

The Ink Plus card is no longer available for new applicants. There is a separate thread for The Ink Business Preferred card.

Links for non-targeted Ink Plus 60K offer ($5,000 spend/3 months; annual $95 fee not waived)
There is a report of a 70k offer for the Chase Ink Plus available only through your local Chase Bank office, extended to August 20, 2016. If you recently accepted the 60K offer, you may be able to get the extra 10K simply by asking for it.

There is a no-fee, UR-earning Ink Cash card: https://creditcards.chase.com/ink-bu.../ink-cash-card

After being denied, how long should I wait before applying again for the same card?

Are there special earning categories?
Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)

In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.

NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

Where can I find the Ink Plus Guide to Benefits?
What are the rules for transferring UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?
Closing Ink Plus cards
It is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

It is not populating on my standard Chase page, the page that features checking account and other cards
There are separate business and personal logins. If you have no other business accounts, you need to create a new business login.

The wiki hasn't been updated in this regard, but I just want to confirm with everybody that there is no longer any difference between the Bold and Plus cards. Other than the name, they're exactly the same, yes?

If you call, you can have your personal and business accounts merged into one log-in. Much simpler than dealing with two separate ones

What number is that? I have tried for years to get Chase to combine the accounts.

Got denied for the Ink Plus because business wasn't that old (1 year) and revenue too low. Also could be I applied/got approved for CSP on Aug 12 so it hasn't been 3 months since my last Chase app with my SSN. Is it worth calling the recon line or waiting a while and try re-applying for Ink Plus?

Called, they told me the application was pending, that no decision had been made, and that I should wait it out. Offered to answer any questions that might help expedite the decision; they said they didn't need anymore info.

I guess it's just a matter of waiting!

I started off with -877-242-7372 and then got transferred so I'm not sure of the exact number but it was the Internet department. The woman I dealt with made it sound like this is fairly normal.

Has anyone who already had an ink bold card gotten an ink plus card since the changes were made to the bold a few months back? I have the bold and would like to go for the ink plus, but don't want to waste a HP if they are going to turn around and say you basically have the same card you are applying for.

I have not done this, but I did just receive a mailer with an invitation code to apply for the Ink Plus, and I'm an Ink Bold card holder. However, with more than 5 credit pulls in the past 24 months, it's my understanding I really can't apply.

Yes you can. The 5/24 rule is not being applied to their business cards

Try the number on the back of your card.

Applied for Ink Plus 11 days ago. Called the automated line and am getting the "30 days" message (which I guess is better than the 7-10 days message). Any suggestions on how much longer should I wait before calling in?

Really? Thanks for this information. Although I'm not sure if this is good news or bad new! I really hate those reconsideration calls every Ink application seems to entail for me. Maybe with an invitation code I'll actually get approved without one.

I got lucky and let my Ink Plus application sit for couple days and they approved me without talking to any analyst. I wasn't looking forward to that call.
