Yes, this started a couple years ago. When you are ready to Combine you need to contact Chase Customer Service by phone or SM. (I have done it by SM, but others report that they had to phone.) The agent will Combine the points. They "may" be able to add the replacement card number to your profile, but in most cases they only move the points, and you have to call again next time.

OK. Have to call them every time I want to transfer. Thanks for the (sad) info.

Not always. After my first call, now whenever I go to combine on the website, the cards that I had requested be combined are listed. Possibly very YMMV.

Combining Ultimate Rewards points option missing?

This week has been busy.
First, I tried to combine our Capital One points - the old Move points option was missing.
Then I came to Chase after a long while to check our UR points balance and to combine them so we could take advantage of the Virgin offer

The menu for UR page looks different - The option to combine points among the cards has disappeared!
Previously I could go on the Ink Cash Menu and transfer to the sapphire preferred, then I could combine that with Ink preferred etc etc

Can anyone help me find the option? Thanks in advance

Update - on my spouse account this option appears under rewards details
https://ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com/combine-points
Mine is still missing - ? early shut down? - still have memories of 5-6 yrs cut off from Chase system 2009-2015
8 cards - 4 UR and 4 airlines, all paid on time. very low MS at staples w cards 1-2 per month in small quantities.

Two observations in case they help. First, the menu for this looks very different on my desktop than it does on my tablet and phone. So YMMV on that. Second, before you get to the rewards details/combine points option, you have to have selected a specific card account to view. Make sure that you have selected one of your UR cards before you do this. Good luck!

I will remove myself as AU/EMPLOYEE from wife's Ink preferred card since there is no benefit and she can't transfer points to my transfer partner account like it used to.
We have spoken to multiple chase reps and all say the same thing. They tried and their system won't allow. The only way that is possible according to two supervisor is by sending proof of all business, irs docs to show proof of business ownership for both main account holder or the employee. The supervisors say this is a business account and only the business owner can take advantage of this feature or provide proof of business ownership documents that show the employee as also the owner of your business.

That was not the case. All 4 accounts had points but the option to combine was missing
I have had a card - the Ink preferred - get hacked and Chase has sent me a new card in April
That I hope is why I do not see it.
I sent a sm and will wait 48 hrs.

I also redeemed a boatload of points to Hyatt a few months ago almost wiping out the balance and I do not know if that triggered something at Chase

This is consistent with the published rule "[y]ou can transfer points in 1,000 point increments, but only to participating frequent travel program accounts belonging to you or an owner of the company who is listed as an authorized user on the account.", but the requirement ihas not always been enforced as written.

I know the transfer points increments. I have owned Chase ink for years since the first ink bold came and have done many transfer between my spouse. This seems to be a new rule, Have spoken to three reps including two supervisors. All say transfer ONLY to own's transfer partner account and the system won't allow them to anyone else. Or send proof of business account ownership and all the documents for both persons. Adding AU/EMPLOYEE card no longer has transfer benefit like used to.

The important part is the bolded text stipulating that you must be an owner of the business in addition to holding an employee card. This has been a requirement since 2015 (see HERE) , but the requirement that you submit evidence of who owns the business seems to be.

Like your spouse, my accounts have the "Combine points" option under "Rewards details". I do not have any business cards, though, only personal.

The options are in the same place for me on both a desktop web browser and the app on my phone.

Now that this doesn't work, how about converting my existing no fee Ink card to the Preferred card? How soon will I be charged the annual fee if I upgrade? As soon as upgrade is done over the phone, I should be able to transfer points to my transfer partner program right?

Clicking the link above allows me to combine points to/from my business card account like it did through the old portal. I've bookmarked this and hope it will continue as a workaround if the combine points option does not return to the UR portal for my business cards.

Hope it helps others too; will try it out after waiting for the sm reply. I do not want to do anything until I hear from Chase.

Anyone have issues (or just avoid) transferring points from an EIN based Ch. Ink Pref account to a SSN based Ch. Ink Pref account? I have to get an agent to do it since it's the first time transfer from the EIN card.
