You were able to link two accounts of household members and the transfer link remained online? Any troubleshooting that helped specifically?

I am not able to send points to my P2 account. On the phone they say it is because his card is already linked to something else (both cards actually, Reserve and Freedom). But this is not true, there are no other accounts, and I am kicking myself for accidentally deleting mine, thinking I can quickly add it back and everything will work. Stuck now and cannot make any point combinations in either direction. Called twice and neither rep was able to fix this, now they insist that P2 calls but I am not optimistic.

I guess I hit the Chase rep jackpot? I mentioned it would be nice if it could work online so I wouldn't need to call back. He said yes he was planning on having that as an option. I even transferred 1000 points today to see if it works and it does. Wish I could help more but I think I just got lucky.

It's been 2 weeks and 4-5 calls with both me and P2 on the line authorizing everything. Nothing works. I was planning to transfer my points to P2 and downgrade to freedom, but cannot see the transfer working anytime soon. They each submit the escalation request and nothing works. Every time I have to wait 24-48 hours and try again and another rep tries the same thing. Sigh.

If I downgrade to Freedom, do I keep the points (I understand I will lose transfer capability to airlines/hotels). Can I still transfer those Freedom points to P2 later?

Yes, downgrading has no impact on your points balance per se, only on what you can do with it. You should still be able to combine your points into your P2s account, assuming Chase ever works out the unusual snags youve encountered.

Anyone else not currently able to combine between accounts? I think I noticed Friday night the option disappeared on DWs account.

Realized as I was typing this I hadn't checked my account and it's working fine. Need to send a SM to Chase?

Interesting (in an annoying way). Based on your post, I just logged into both my own and my wife's accounts and sure enough the transfer that we'd had setup and had been working for quite sometime has disappeared from both our accounts.

At the bottom of the page it still clearly says, "You can move your points, but only to another Chase card with Ultimate Rewards belonging to you or one member of your household or owner of the company, as applicable."

Very annoying...

I am missing not only the ability to Combine points with ms mia's account, but also the ability to Combine with my own accounts. In other words, the entire feature is broken, not just the ability to Combine with another person. This looks like a technical failure, not a policy change.

That is a fair point and does align with what I'm seeing. However, I think my concern, given the ongoing challenges with this feature, is that when it's "fixed" the link between my wife and I's account will somehow not be restored.

Yep, exactly what I feared. My ability to combine points between my own cards has been restored and no trace of my wife's cards and she most certainly does have point balances on them.

The way Chase handles this is just infuriating...

No change in my account overnight, I do not have any accounts on the right hand side of the page.

You can move your points, but only to another Chase card with Ultimate Rewards belonging to you or one member of your household or owner of the company, as applicable. If we suspect that you’ve engaged in fraudulent activity related to your credit card account or Ultimate Rewards, or that you’ve misused Ultimate Rewards in any way (for example by buying or selling points, moving or transferring points with or to an ineligible third party or account, or repeatedly opening or otherwise maintaining credit card accounts for the sole purpose of generating rewards or manufacturing spend, repeatedly opening or otherwise maintaining credit card accounts for the sole purpose of generating rewards) we may temporarily prohibit you from earning points or using points you’ve already earned. If we believe you’ve engaged in any of these acts, we’ll close your credit card account.
Counterproductive how Chase uses the word "move" here when they promulgate the word "combine" elsewhere. Anyway, I'm just posting their baleful admonition for everyone's edification -- and for a laugh, considering how many of us have UR cards solely for generating rewards. (And if not solely then certainly overwhelmingly!)

RNE, mumbling "Duh."

My CFU statement closed yesterday and I successfully moved the points to my own CSR last night. So for me the Combine Points “works” as before.
