How do I combine points between my personal and business cards? Thanks
BTW, I don't have any Chase cards that has points transfer capability
I used to be able to transfer from my personal cards to my business cards up until a few weeks ago, but can no longer do so online, as well. I liked consolidating points, but it doesn't look like I can do so anymore. Not the end of the world in the big scheme of things.

Do you have separate online accounts for your personal and business cards?

Yes, I have separate logins. Might that be the problem?

It may explain the different experiences. You can ask to have your personal cards added to your Business username, and see if more cards become available for Combining.

I am still able to as well, though the ability to consolidate my wife's over to my account dropped out of the system (it had been put in by an agent when she called in and it worked for awhile) some time ago which is rather annoying...

Regards

In the last month I actually gained the ability to combine points between SO and my accounts (pers to biz, via the website) after never having been able to do it before. So the changes aren't always to the bad.

Back in the day when you could add someone else to your online account, P1 and P2 had the ability to transfer back and forth whenever they wanted. Then they took that ability away and we have since closed both cards that were set up for that. Randomly a few month ago one of P2's accounts showed up to transfer to for P1, no idea why.

For me this works great right now, since typically only one of us have a card that can transfer to transfer partners, and right now the person with that is P2.

This works out great for us, since P1 is an employee on P2's cards. So if P1 needs Hyatt points for example, they can be transferred to P2 and then transferred to P1's Hyatt directly

Great. Now I'll need to visit chase.com at least five times per week to see if I can link accounts.

Seriously, if you have any more details, please post them. Did you simply initiate a points transfer and found a new target?

Every month I combined my points into one card, just for ease of viewing/tracking. One month I went to do this and poof there was another account. Never initiated anything to get it there, it just magically turned up

I won't really be able to help much. All I know is that after we got our first couple of Chase cards the ability to transfer online was not working (I think for anyone, according to these forums), so we had to call in to have the points transferred...which worked no problem. I think the process had always been that the first time a transfer was done it had to be over the phone, but subsequent would work online.
Anyway, all of a sudden about a month ago, I was looking at SOs account and saw the option to transfer URs from SOs Chase Saph Pref to my Chase Ink Pref...so I did it.
The only thing which is probably WAI is that when I go look at the accounts now, I can't see anything;...but that's because if there are no Chase points available then there's no option to transfer (which makes sense).

You can also combine them in account settings. There is an option of other accounts to manage

In my case, I have 2 separate accounts for personal and business cards. I didn't want one same account for all my personal and biz cards. I think because of that, I can't transfer biz to personal and vice versa cos I don't see the personal cards on biz and biz cards on personal accounts. Years ago, we used to be able to just manually add the card number of where you are transferring the points to. I may have to call chase to transfer the points to.

Is there a disadvantage to linking them so you log on and see everyone at once?
