RNE and Jab are just arguing about the thread title for whatever reason. There have been some data points on people having trouble combining points but I’ve had no issues on my end (both between people and between business and personal)
In the last month I actually gained the ability to combine points between SO and my accounts (pers to biz, via the website) after never having been able to do it before. So the changes aren't always to the bad.
