Can I downgrade the Plus to the Cash no fee version when the AF comes due, with no HP?

Hi guys,

Don't see a wiki for this, but wanted to check in on success getting the sign-up bonus for the exact same card. Specifically with regard to the Ink Plus.

I've gotten a second Ink Plus card 10 months after I got the first. I mostly did this for non-signup-bonus-related reasons, but still wondering since I would not mind 50,000 UR pts as an added perk.

Has anyone had success "churning" this bonus in less than 24 months, or are the terms & conditions (which state 24 months) actually adhered to by Chase and there is no way to sneak through?

Thanks!

Because I'm too worried about repercussions to MS with the Ink card, I've been putting a lot of personal spend on the Ink just to meet the $5000 min. spend for the 70k bonus. I am now wondering how much personal spend (i.e. grocery store trips) will trigger a review?

I have the same question.
Offer states this:
This new cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this business credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this business credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this business credit card within the last 24 months.

Last Ink card was cancelled July 2013. Bonus would have been received over 6 months prior to cancellation date. Does Chase use the 24 month time as when the card was cancelled or the bonus was received or the account was opened? I want to know if I have to wait until July 2015 to get another card and bonus or can apply now.

How soon did folks get the 70k points after hitting the $5000 spend?

I used my INK card for 100% personal spend as I don't have a business.............I have never had any issues on multiple Chase Business cards.

Mine posted on the statement that cut after I spent the $5K

Now the question is what to do with them..............I have CP so probably SW

I was going to move some to Hyatt but I see point redemptions are going up in 2015

Points never expire right?

Well then again the longer you hold them, the more likely policies change, like airlines increase mileage requirements. Or maybe Chase doesn't let you transfer 1:1.

Or maybe they lose some partners.

I better get cracking ...

Strange behavior, both the missus and I signed up and were approved for the Chase Ink Plus under the 70k promo. Second Ink Plus for me, first one for the wife.

We've both met the $5k spend requirements sometime in the beginning of December, statement closes December 8th but I've gotten the 70k UR but my wife hasn't. I'll wait for the January statement to see if this will post correctly, otherwise it's a SM to support...

The first thing to double check is that your count of $5000 did not include the annual fee.

It's beyond $5000 even including the fee, $5,800 appeared on the Dec 8th statement but until today no 70k UR.

I do have a SM from Chase Card Services stating that the deadline is Jan 7th so let's see what happens in 2 weeks.

Guys - Need some help .. Opened the account on Sep 29th and was under the impression that I have 102 days ( based on exp with other chase cards ) to meet the min spend requirement of 5k. However , while talking to CSR and her Manager yesterday , I was told that the I need to meet the min spend requirement within 90 days and that ends Dec 28th. I'm still around 1500 USD away and even with buying GCs , I dont think they will post on Sunday. Has there been any recent change to this ? I checked the T&Cs and it just states 3 months but I know chase used to give additional 12days .

Any pointers is much appreciated .

Just a data point... I tried to get them to match the 70k offer via a Secure Message to Chase online. Here's their response:

Dear GrnLantern,

Thank you for contacting Chase about the first use bonus offer on a Ink Plus card.

To apply for a business credit card account, please visit our website at chase.com and select Business. Then click Business Credit Cards under the products and services tab. You can select and view the most current offers and terms available.

As offers keep on changing for the various credit card products we have at Chase, you will get the offer as per the current offer when you apply for the card.

Currently, the offer is to receive 50,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening. We are unable to match the offer to receive 70,000 bonus points as it is no longer available. For more details about current offer terms, please visit our website.

Thank you for being our customer. Your business is important to us. If you have any further questions, please reply using the Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Customer Service Specialist
Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer for something closer to that offer to show up.

What are the offers in-branch? I won't be able to get to one in the next few weeks, but I'd heard that the 70k offer still existed if you applied at the Chase branch? Is it gone there too?
50k offer is still pretty good, if the annual fee is waived. Nothing to scoff at.

Oooh, really?

I won't be able to personally confirm for a week or so, but that'd be awesome if it's still available in branch.

Anyone else able to confirm?
