Hi

A photo of the menu provided by s1362083 in the BA forum

https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/33906913-post3833.html

Nice to see it open again ( might have to book a T3 BA flight in Feb to try it out again)

Regards

Does the lounge collect a fee for other oneworld passengers using it? Otherwise I see no logic in having the lounge reopen at this point.

Hi,

Agree. The menu has been very pared down but if it is a case of a pared down menu or no lounge, i would take the reduced menu ( esp if T3 BA is short haul only currently).

Yes there is a fee per passenger. There are many rumours flying around what exactly they are, but no actual knowing.

Really? So if i am traveling on AA business flight from MIA to LHR and then connecting from LHR to PRG with British Airways (only bronze status holder at this moment) I am not able to get to the CX lounge without paying some fee?

No, the operating airline pays a fee per passenger to CX, not the passenger pays. If the passenger paid, it would be well known.

Your J ticket gets you access, BA has to foot the bill.

Finally something positive re CX. Who cares about the menu size when there are much bigger issues challenging CX currently.

As per discussions in the BA forum, AA has contracted to use this lounge while they renovate their own LHR lounge. So this makes more sense as to why CX has opened the lounge.

Most restaurants, let alone airport lounges, have paired down their menus. Uncertainty on volumes of people to be served, supply chain challenges, rising cost of supplies all contribute to this effect. When things normalize, expect menus to expand again due to competitive pressures.

Nice to see it back open. Menu looks reasonable even if it's shrunk a little! Would love to see the wine (champagne!) list if anyone passes through!

I am here right now. Here’s the Biz section options:

there’s not really much in the self-serve food section.

The First Class options at Breakfast & Lunch are below:

This is my first time in the lounge but I am impressed despite more limited offerings. Far better than QF. Will post full review soon.

Thanks for the menu pic!

Really better than the QF? I mean it is great if so but I was in the QF lounge back in December and when compared to the BA lounge in T3 it was really superb. So if the CX lounge raise the level even more that is great, but overall I was really happy at the QF lounge with the food/drinks/seating selection.
