KA at DAD will check to FRA the luggage, if asked to, right?

Thank you!
I had no problems at DAD in early January checking a bag through to an AY itinerary (HKG-HEL-LHR). How long between the flights?

Thank you.
KA flight arrives HKG 12:45, BA flights depart 23:45. So, around 11 hours.

Flew CX (EWR-HKG-SIN) then SQ (SIN-ADL) in early March. Same stops on the way back to EWR. Our stopovers in SIN were ~12hrs each time.
Had no problems interlining our bags to the final destination in either direction.
Took an extra 10mins at both EWR and ADL check-in to sort everything out.
At SIN we had to show luggage receipts to bring the bags over to the new airline. We were told by check-in staff we would need to do this step.

If a journey is made up of three separate PNRs, are CX likely to check a bag through to the final destination (CX-BA-BA)?

Does CX still interline bags to SQ, even if they are on two separate tickets (CX is a paid ticket, and SQ is an award ticket)?

Yes I believe so, but whether the reverse is true you would need to ask in the SQ forum.

Thank you. Found that they say the same on their website:
https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...ordion-content

Expert Flyer lists SQ under the baggage interline partners of CX too.

It seems they are the last (if not one of) oneworld airline to do this. Hope they continue this policy.

QR, JL, and MH does this too. MH and QR occasionally go beyond by checking your bags through to non-OW as well

That's good to know. Wish AA and BA follow such customer friendly policies, but I don't have high hopes that they will change.

BA and AA won't check your bags through even if you are flying solely with them on separate tickets.

Again, separate PNRs, not separate tickets. Separate tickets within the same PNR are fine.

I only had 2 occasions with AA, so I cant say for sure. But both times, I have no problem check thru with seperate tickets/PNR (aa to aa, both times, reward + revenue, 1 to pvg, 1 to pek)

BA is another story.

From the AA forum, it seems AA will interline if it's a AA award + OW paid fares. But not if both are paid fares.

Just wanted to add a data point. Flew CX award J flight and CX paid Y+ flight on two separate PNRs. They checked the bags through with a smile
