Reading through the menu, -- "Valrhona choco mousse"? Are they trying to save money on ink by omitting -"late"?

Finally flew the A350 HKG-FCO.
My impressions of the aircraft (seated in 15D/G):
- the thumping of the foot on the aisle floor is very loud, compared to the B777.
- didn't notice the effect of the cabin pressure/humidity between the 350 and 777 (flew the 77H back (MXP-HKG)
- the seats really looked worn-out. The arm rest on my seat needs a lot of force to be raised or lowered.
- I can't imagine seating in 11D/G. the toilet doors opens toward those seats.
- there's kerosene smell during take off. Is this common across all Airbus aircraft? (didn't smell this in the A330 though)

I can guarantee all of you that even if Airbus and Boeing specs say that there is higher humidity and therefore pax will feel less fatigue, drying etc on the 350 and 787 series of aircraft, I have now spent more than 2 years flying over 50 flights on AC's 788s and 789s almost all TPAC, a few TATL and about 20+ transcons, and I do not notice any difference between those and AC's 777 fleet.
In conversations with crew, it seems just as many say the don't feel any difference as those who say there is one.
I think that even if the design should make thing more comfortable onboard in-flight, not everyone responds to different atmospheric conditions the same way. If they did, then there wouldn't be a vocal number who say there is no difference.
I would offer that some of the comfort on these aircraft may also involve the cabin temperature. If exceedingly hot or cold, pax will be too uncomfortable either way to notice better humidity.
just saying......

Well, I am an employee if that helps. And it was posted a while back on the A350 production page but was taken down.

Interesting to see CX installing different economy seats on their two flagship planes and not opting for HAECO on 777.

10 abreast will be quite a squeeze for the seats/aisles as well as the passenger. I expect the decision to split suppliers is down to trying to fit 10 across on the 777, the Recaro seat is only 17.2" wide. The HAECO seat might not fit. The basic Vector Y seat is 19" wide including an inch of armrest each side.
Soon the CX/KA fleet will be as complicated as the current SQ fleet

Wow! This is crazy as at one point, there will be 7 different types of economy seats in the whole fleet!
Back in 2012, CX standardises all seats into two main types only: regional and long-haul. The retrofit speed was rapid (which is much much faster and better than SQ). However soon, we will see a great variety of different seats again.

Granted CX doesn't have the luxury of scrapping all the current seats and replacing them all as few years ago due to... money, money and money, but if they are not distinctly far away like regional J v.s. long haul J things should not be too bad (like I never heard anyone complaint or have strong preference on the Y seats on the new 320 v.s. the existing "new Y")
p.s. KA 321 uses existing "new Y" seats, not the fixed back shell Y

Wow that is almost as many J seats as a 77H. Doesn't sound like a good aircraft for opening new markets then, but perhaps a good replacement of weak-F routes like BOS, ORD or certain destinations like LHR, LAX and JFK which may benefit from keeping lots of J seating but adding more Y in place of some daily F frequencies.
