As described above, the fares - or ones very similar to them - continue to be bookable despite no longer being marketed on their special page.

ARN £91.63 BA776 + BA779
CPH £91.33 BA812 + BA821
MAD £91.33 BA456/458/512/514 + BA461/463/465
BCN £91.43 BA472 + BA481
FCO £90.73 BA552/546/560 + BA557/559
GVA £81.63 BA724/732 + BA735/737
DUB £80.93 BA834 + BA823
GLA £92.43 BA1482 + BA1493/1495/1497
MUC £100.53 BA948 + BA957
HAM £91.53 BA964 + BA967
BRU £91.63 BA388/394 + BA401
MXP £91.33 BA572 + BA567

Edit: Never mind, my tired post-lunch brain can't tell daytrip and HW apart!

Also picked one up for Sunday to cries of "what are you doing" from the OH when I got caught entering the AMEX details... Off to NCE as an anniversary surprise, any travel tips welcomed!

If you can get a table at Oliviera, I'd highly recommend it. Beautiful food and extraordinary olive oils to taste.

Day Trips

Hey everyone

I remember in recent months gone by, BA were offering day trips to certain Western European destinations. However, they have no ended the offer and I can't remember where they went.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in Europe that BA offered early and late flights to which would allow for a day to be spent in a city somewhere? Just out of curiosity!

Thanks
James

Just thinking off the top of my head AMS and CDG/ORY have very frequent flights, so you should be able to have a full day.

I've been looking for a few of these over recent weeks to top up my TPs. I've found that trying to book a same day return in advance results in high prices. However, wait until Thursday/Friday and look for same day returns the coming Saturday or Sunday can result in reasonable prices.

For example BRU and MAD are available for tomorrow for circa £90 return.

Quite a few other destinations have a cheap outbound (£35-£65) but an expensive inbound (£200+) so the fares are there, just got get a bit lucky at short notice with a destination you want to go to.

The offer didn't end. People made the mistake of taking some website page or marketing material at face value, when the day trip fares remained filed in the GDS and there was availability to some destinations.

And this is the thread you were looking for: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...rip-fares.html

Looks like the "Hello Daytrip" page is gone for good? Replaced with "Hello Weekend"?

Hello Weekend started before Hello Daytrip.
