MMB appears to be poorly. Advising me to call or ask my travel agent if I need to see my booking.

BA login and booking engine down?

Hi folks. Are others currently locked out of BA's website? When I search for flights it reverts to the search page. When I try to log in to BAEC it reverts to a different login page. And trying to book flights on the shareholder discount page I can't proceed beyond login. Been so all day. Same problem for a few hours y'day morning (Tuesday). Don't they want my money? Or is it local to me?

I often find this can be browser specific...

Sounds like the known issue. Clear out cookies or try a different browser.

Or might some other members have experienced this too?

I've had the same issue today - it does seem to be a browser issue - I can log in ok using Firefox, but Safari is not working properly at all.

I asked the same question recently and was kindly reminded of the existing thread, which Globaliser provided above.

I solved it by clearing cookies in Google Chrome.

Thank you Globaliser, I'm suitably chastened and will try to pay more attention in future.

Strange how the bug appears out of nowhere after years of trouble-free browsing.

Even stranger why they haven't fix it by now.

If it wasn't for Flyertalk simpletons like me wouldn't know how to fix this problem.

It might be worth your while trying Firefox for a while and see if it causes problems, because I haven't had any issues at all with the BA website (beyond the "normal BA IT issues") when using Firefox.

I've given up on Chrome for ba.com. Anytime I want to book a flight or do MMB or OLCI I just use Firefox. I have never had a problem with it.

Because whatever it is, it seems to be pretty elusive: I don't have any issues with using Chrome on ba.com.

I wonder whether, if one reads the other thread, one could find some report of problems in relation every type of browser known to man.
