In KUL today. Excellent flight down with a great crew on MH. I was a bit pi$$ed in the lounge, and the crew had more drinks on the flight. So much for short MH flights being dry in business. In fairness it was a couple of business types in the row in front who started it, I just jumped on the bandwaggon
. Back to BKK today then home tomorrow. Mrs rapidex wants a bottle of hennessy XO to go with the Christmas turkey.

Happy Friday! And a long weekend here as well, given that Tuesday is a public holiday (and Monday might as well be off then
)
Not much planned for the weekend though, other than maybe some much-needed rest.
Haha glad you enjoyed! My flights on MH last week were also good*. BKK is the only exception from the dry short-haul policy, I have been told by MH crew, and they only have beer. Have a great trip back!
*All enjoyable, except the last one due to the Chinese couple who displaced 1C without asking, were shouting loudly to eachother the entire flight and using the Chinese version of the F word to the crew once asked to stow their bags! Pursor told me that had we not already been taxiing for takeoff, he would have had them offloaded - but we were so far along, that he deemed that the negative effect of delays for the flight plus the return and the next sector after that was not worth it. I and other oax around him said we would have supported his decision to return 100%.

Im flying back to the USA today after an unplanned visit to NCL to say goodbye to my mother who died on Sunday. Fortunately I had made it over in time to say my goodbyes and was with her when she breathed her last. So its been the toughest of weeks.
A decent amount of snow has fallen overnight so Im hoping for a farce-free flight from NCL but will have to factor in extra time to get to the airport as Im sure the roads will be a nightmare and the Metro will be in meltdown mode!
The only thing Im looking forward to is - and some may laugh - the fact that the LAS flights are one again leaving from T3. Its been a while since I visited the Cathay lounge and I may also give the Amex Centurion lounge a whirl too.

Safe travels, and enjoy the Cathay lounge. Ive mostly given up on LHR Centurion after three strikes of it being absolutely packed to the rafters.

This weekend off on a short hop to Brussels and back leaving early tomorrow morning, return late Sunday… just enough time for a Belgian beer evening and a hungover trip back
. As Geordie405 said, we’ve a decent amount of snow on the ground at the moment but the forecast is for it to stop soon so hopefully a fuss free trip to the airport tomorrow.

Geordie405 my condolences to you and your family. Tough times.
A hopefully pleasant weekend break with Mrs TT1F planned in frosty Edinburgh starting later today. All flights to EDI zeroed out so the flight will be busy but once there we are really looking forward to the visit and some time to have bracing walks among historic sights. Am also looking forward to The Caledonian which I'm told can be a great hotel.

A sunny 7c on this little Island.
Starting to really think about Christmas now. Started yesterday by donating 2 large artificial Christmas Trees and a ton of decorations to a local Church and Food Bank, as we CBA to put them all up any more. Hanging on to some of the festive stuff, though, which will get installed over the next few days. Ho-Ho-Ho!

My condolences Geordie405 .
Happy Friday everyone. My weekend will be spent with window specialists due to a flat refurbishment gone wrong. It's not the right time of the year to have draughts in a flat with a little one! (I feel like Uncle T giving updates like that
)
It just started snowing in the city, I hope it doesn't disrupt too many travel plans!
