The latest version (2010) of the First cabin (termed "Prime" internally by British Airways, or "New First") is available on all 4-class 777s and all 747s.
An newer evolution (2013) of the First seat (Prime+) is found on all A380s, and a newer version still (2015) is available on all 787-9s.
The older version of the First cabin (termed "Classic" internally by British Airways, or "Old First") has now been withdrawn.
747 information updated to 31 March 2016. Last change: withdrawal of G-BNLF, the last OF aircraft

Also, FWIW, my gut feeling is the same. One reason I think this is that retiring frames that happen to be NF would be stripped and the NF equipment refitted into OF frames.
One other thought is the 'contamination' issue. When you just have 2 or 3 frames across the whole fleet showing an outdated product, I think there may be increased pressure within the airline to sort the problem, so I would be surprised if OF lingered when the number of OF frames gets very low.

The list of retirements for which we have current planned dates includes four NF aircraft, and there are five OF aircraft for which there are currently no retirement dates. One of those five is an OF aircraft that had been due to retire (G-BNLF), but which is receiving a life extension because of the unplanned demise of G-BNLL (also OF). So it may be that LF will retire somewhere in the course of the period spanned by the current retirements list, which runs until January 2016.
Therefore it could be February or March 2016 before all the OF cabins have been removed from the fleet, or there may still be one more OF cabin lingering on after that.

Does anyone know; now that the seat maps have been re-designed, are there still the same "clues" as to whether your flight is looking like NF (wardrobe/COT location etc) - or have these indications gone now?

I flew F on May 30 from DFW to LHR and back to PHX on June 3rd. OF both ways however filled out cards for 50k Avios on each flight. How long before they should post to my account?

BA choose to put 14 first seats on a 777 / 747 and some might argue that the seat itself is little better than the business seats on some carriers like CX, but it is still differentiated in the over all product, including things like the Concorde room. But with 14 seats there is much greater opportunity to actually fly in F, like upgrades and FF awards.
With a hub in LHR and a route network like BA's I think their current F strategy is the right one. If they were to go to fewer suites I think we would see BA remove F completely from many routes that currently offer it, leaving it only on the high premium routes.
