This new site is so bad.
I login. Go to purchase a new flight. It asks me to pay for seat selection (I am Gold). I notice that somehow there is a "log in" button at the top of the page again. So I login again. Now my name is showing but it's still asking me to pay for seats. "Skip this step", whatever, I'll do it in MMB.
And then at the payment page, turns out I need to enter all of the passengers' details manually, because somehow they don't show up in "saved passengers".
This is so painful honestly.

The old and new versions of the BA website produce different prices for exactly the same flights and dates flights LHR to ARN.

The old version of the website shows a fare of 317.92. The new version gives a price of 260.92. It isn't that the price changed as if I revert back and forth between the 2 versions the pricing difference remains constant. Doing a dummy booking through the App gives the same higher price produced by the old website. Taxes seem identical either way but the air fare is 57.00 different.
Successfully completed a booking via the new website booking design which ticketed successfully at the lower price.

Old booking interface https://www.britishairways.com/content/flights
New booking interface https://www.britishairways.com/nx/b/en/gb/
The BA App seems to be generating its pricing the same way as the old website so don't assume the App will get the lowest pricing

Just be careful people! I believe you read my example a few posts up. Pricing won't change and if you through the new website, you will get charged more! I raised that with BA yesterday and see what they will say

you might also notice that some prices will stick to the lowest price if you use google flights for your research and that is redirecting you to the old website booking platform. I managed to reproduce issues that i have one two separate cases like that

In my example above the old website higher price was in line with what the Flight price finder tool was indicating and clicking through that tool also produced the higher fare.
The price offered through the new website was lower than any fare price finder was indicating for the LHR - ARN route on any future date.. SIIghtly surprised at the low fare the new website was offering for this route only 3 weeks out so it could be a fare bug in the new website or BA future bookings are weak on this route

Two days ago I was trying to log into my account on the new version of the website, absolute nightmare could not log in, password not recognised and my account was then locked!
Tried a few times to re set the password with the Gold line staff sending a link to my email, but just got the error message 'password already used' despite choosing a completely different password!
The problem can only be sorted by the 'back office' and I am aware this can take 2 weeks.
Same thing happened last year when I transferred Avios from BA to my Finnair plus via the BA website and my account was locked then.

had to book a flight today london-seville/malaga-london and to my chagrin, BA were the best option in terms of time.
new website, log in and go through booking process and of course at the stage where i need to put my info in, it does not have me logged in so i click log in again. then at seat selection it wants to charge me for seats so it took a while to figure out how to skip since again the purchase flow makes this a required step now. skip, pay (which took ages to process) to eventually go back to manage my booking to select my free seats.
it was so cumbersome i actually looked if i could get the same flights on iberia.com
then the new email receipt confirmation no longer is readable by track@flighty for auto import so thats another awesome enhancement.

Spent 30'+ on the phone about a reservation i made. They couldn't believe how it's possible for me to identify an H fare class ticket and how it's possible getting a semi-flex confirmation but when checking under my bookings i got Q class which is the lowest economy fare bucket!
They said to me, we can cancel this reservation but the price will be higher on the new one and i respond that i expext BA to honour the reservation and the confirmation i received which i fortunately discovered today before getting into trouble while travelling (imaging thinking you have paid for a semi flex with your checked luggage as per your itinerary details and you are waiting for your TPs and find out the hard way you have to pay for a luggage and you will get reduced TPs)
We finished with our conversation saying that this is getting escalated and they will call me tomorrow to offer 1. possible compensation for the trouble i got into plus any TPs, extra luggage etc 2. Issue new ticket but with H fare class and no extra cost.
I will repeat that again. TRIPLE CHECK YOUR PRICING AND FARE CLASSES! YOU MIGHT OVERPAYING! They have completely messed up the website environment.....

speaking of fare classes, this is another reason i had to call for two different bookings to a secondary city i spain via madrid as despite choosing business, i was forced into econ only for the iberia legs which i only knew upon clicking on more details as the final page would only display "business" for the page just before payment.
a total mess that is getting worse somehow.
