What is it with BA? It seems like half the time I get the "website busy" message and now this 404 error. Are they really this incompetent? SO wanted to book a R/T to Dubai for about $10K, I guess BA doesn't want her money. I've never had such consistent problems with other major airlines and their websites. (to be fair, there are some that just never work, like Air China)

I'm unable to book a reward ticket. On the reward flight finder there is availability LHR-HND 27 Oct - 11 Nov. But when I go to book it says there's no flights available!

Very much agree. They've just launched a flash sale but it's impossible to access on their website - for me at least - because it's crashed again. Quite incompetent, but at least this time their front page admits there are problems.

Just been on the phone for a simple BAH booking for 90 minutes. I needed to call because I'm paying the full payment with vouchers and these can't be redeemed online.
Initially the call to BAH routed me to flight-only bookings, so I then got transferred back to BAH. Took ages to populate the flight details - the agent really apologetic. Then they couldn't work out how the deposit would work as vouchers can't pay deposits without back-office activity.
So I've paid the deposit on a credit card but the agent couldn't then secure the line to take the cc details. So although ba.com is back up, it's really not pretty in the back office yet..

I had occasion to call by BHD check in this afternoon around 4pm as the app had logged me out and BA.com wasnt working. I had checked in but hadnt issued a boarding pass last night in case a better seat came up. Check-in mentioned Fly was down and systems were running slowly and took about 5 mins to issue a boarding pass as the queues started to build.

The app seems to break on days when I have a flight. Lesson learned to OLCI and print a paper BP every time. No more getting stuck in traffic to the airport and, after the app breaking, stressing about whether check in closes at t-60 or t-45, while wondering if you can get a reprint of a BP after check in closes if already checked in online.
On the plus side BHD check in were issuing almost card-like BPs, no flimsy paper!

Looks like, on top of everything else, they came up with a pretty ugly redesign of the BAEC website.
