We need a new thread: "Mobile app and ba.com website working [2025] [Please keep thread clutter-free!]"

It won't contain many posts but people may find it useful.

Just tried to apply a GUF to an existing booking - no go, agents can see bookings but not amend them. Chatting away whilst we wait and they had nothing at all working but supposedly slowly coming back online.

Back up for me now, but I seem to have been demoted from GGL to Gold

Luckily, I'd already checked in this morning for a flight tomorrow - the current outage is typical rather than being an isolated incident which is why I always check in at the first available opportunity as it's not worth leaving it to chance. At 15:48 this afternoon, BA emailed me with one of their ridiculous surveys that they never take any notice of asking for my opinion of them. Given that they never take any notice, I was very honest and made it clear that every stage of any engagement with them is absolutely tortuous. Given that every answer was negative, it made me feel quite relieved and thankful that they're divorcing me. What an absolute mess of an airline and a complete embarrassment for this country.

At this point they should probably initiate their roll back plan and try again another time...

Yep - the new UI has had me as Gold for a few weeks. In fact I have never seen the new UI show GGL.

New UI has my membership details correct but 0 upcoming trips. Yesterday it correctly showed 3 (on partner airlines, booked via Avios). Hmmmm.... new site seems faster, though.

Edit: Book with Avios gives a 404.

Mine also shows Gold instead of GGL and also a lower TP and Avios amount from about 1 month ago (that does not correspond with having been Gold at that point in time). Most commonly loads when I first access the mobile web browser and then reverts to old UI and numbers and status are correct.

Agreed.
you cant see any correct information, they are redirecting you to the nx site. This site has been available for a while, CWS has e=mentioned it. Once on there nothing works, but it does give you a landing page

It seems faster coz it is not actually reading any of your information

Just tried to view my existing bookings and just repeatedly get this:

Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

10.4.5 404 Not Found

Is there any end to BA's IT disasters? The App won't let me log in at all since 14:00 today

I am now getting a near-normal-for-BA service. This did track fairly well here:

Wherever I've worked it has been policy never to do a system upgrade on a Friday.
