Either 1EF or 2EF are best although you can chat across the aisle if one of you want a window seat.

I have a booking in Y on BA32 HKG-LHR. BA.com seat map shows first row being 25, and exit row being 31, so I assume this is a 77L.

Row 25 appears mostly full. I'm able to select 31A as Gold. I generally prefer a window over aisle. Is this a good choice or is there no window and does the exit door intrude into the legroom? Or should I just take a window in the forward mini-cabin?

Gatwick 777 WT+

Flying to St kitts next year and doing our seats it's the row 10 with only 4 seats.
looking at 11 A+B can anyone confirm if these have a window? Cabin wide open except for row 10 any recommendations?

Not sure what you mean by "it's the row 10 with only 4 seats" but I've been in WT+ quite a few times on both types of these configurations (77S and 77T)

No issues with windows, no blanks there but I'd move back to row 12 due to the bassinet seats being in front.

You can see where the window blank is in the Wiki layouts, around the 14/15 rows.

ETA: Here's a photo in WTP, this was row 12 IIRC.

77W Row 7E&F

I am flying in a 77W o/night 10 hour flight. In the mini cabin, the only seats available (that are together) are 7E and 7F. Are these good seats? Price suggests they are but read some reviews that say they're noisy? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Flyertalk and welcome to the BA foum.

I guess this is what we now call the 77H aircraft with Club Suites (see wiki) and the comment about noise perhaps relates to the galley behind the seats. It's the sort of thing that gets highlighted but my own view is that the 777 is a noisy aircraft anyway, the noisiest longhaul aircraft that BA has so there is no escaping the aircraft's own noise when travelling. Consequently I don't think that galley noise is material. CS seating is similar throughout so there is less issue with seats being good or bad these days,it is a uniform cabin now.

Thank you. After doing a little more digging, I think it might be because there is a baby seat behind it.

There is no baby position behind 7EF any comments about noise is due to the galley directly behind these seats.

Folks I'll be flying from BKK to LGW with my partner on the old B777-200 CW in November. We picked QR for the outbound, but the timimg of the inboud is so convenient (13h direct night flight landing 5.30am) that we couldn't resist.
What is your oponion about 1J/K- does it get much traffic? I can currently choose any seat (apart from the basinet in row 4) and fully aware 4J/K are widely accepted as being the best. But I'm worried we'll be moved without any notice as they might be allocated for crew rest, and I'm not the best and keeping a constant eye on my seats. Also not sure how good the catering is and whether we'll have any meal choice by the time they get to us. I believe the toilets are on the A side so was thinking either 4A/B or 1 J/K. What do you think?

Hi All, just had an aircraft change for BA107 from a 77L in row 1 to a 77H in row 10 - row 1 is showing as available but errors out when I try to move the seats. I have moved to row 7 for now, but any idea why I can't book row 1 anymore, even though it is 'available'?

Looking at the seat map again, it looks like 1-2 may be a first cabin, so is possibly coming up on MMB in error!

I'd go for 4AB as 4A has direct aisle access. Service starts from row 1 but I would imagine not everyone would want to eat on an overnighter. You'll more than likely exit form door 2 so a good choice.

A decent set of earplugs, I use gel ones, should ensure you get some decent sleep.

Possibly as you were on a 3 class aircraft it's now a 4 class and they're not selling any First seats. That's known here as FLUB and you can read more about it here. Best just stay and stick to your J seat.
