LAX-LHR #AA6935
The AA6935 is the BA282 which shows on Expert Flyer for the next few days as as 77W matching the 77H configuration on AeroLOPA above. I'm not sure how you managed to select row 3 as there isn't one? Which date are you flying?

A dummy booking for that flight on BA.com shows the expected seat map with business starting at row 5.

Do you mean the AA6935 [BA282] LAX to LHR or are you referring to a flight from LHR to LAX?

Are you getting your outbound and return mixed up?

Then on 28 December, the seat map you've described matches BA281 also sold as AA6992. This is a 777-200 not a 777-300, and it's a 777-200 with no first class, so the configuration is as already posted above by Can I help you:

One of my pals, not on this server, has just had a seat change on them on a LGW - JFK in February next year. They've asked me where the 2-4-2 seats at the back have gone. I've had a look at the seatmap on EF and I am ... confused.

It's a standard 2-4-2 CW rows 1-4, 2-4-2 WT+ rows 10-15 ... so that implies a 77S config. Then you look at the economy seatmap and just think "what"?
(edit: updated to make smaller)

Standard 10 abreast seating in economy on a 777. Nothing unexpected here.

If that's in response to my post, that is normal. However where have rows 40-46 gone? Also there's no BA config that I know of with row 39 having 3-2-3...

Yes.

Hard to say without looking at the screen your pal has. Other than BA IT.

This is the seat map.

If given the opportunity to Flub, would you go for the 2010 F seats, or stick with the 2019 CW Suites seats on the 77M?

Most of the time this question should be a no brainer, but it seems there's a smaller screen + the lack of privacy doors in F, hence my question.

You don't Flub yourself - BA does. If you select F seats when they open up, it's highly likely you'll be unceremoniously booted back to a random J seat closer to departure time.
