GC map has this flight at 888 miles, a hair under the 900 for a proper meal service. Wonder why they got meals. Maybe to compete with UA on this route?

ORDDEN is 901 mi. per Sabre.

A good question! The original Stapleton site looks about 12 miles further from DIA to me, so maybe it's just a remnant. Would seem odd, but plausible?

Absolutely correct! Same reason, for example, why the distance for LAX-DEN (849mi) is 13 miles shorter than the great circle distance for LAX-DEN (862mi) - since Stapleton is to the west of DIA. I believe there are a few other similar mileage discrepancies out there for other airports for the exact same reason (change of airport location).

I just had the exact same meal out of ORD. Was solid all around. The green glob is some sort of avocado spread with some other ingredient I can’t put my thumb on. I ended up adding it to my salad and it was good but perhaps it’s there to have with the crackers. I wish they would do a slightly bigger plate with a bit more lettuce for an entree salad and it would have been perfect. First time I’ve had an entree salad on AA that wasn’t romaine.

Any pics of the Southwestern Shrimp Salad? I have this on my flight next week DFW-SRQ, no hot entrees unfortunately.
