Scheduled on a 7:30pm TPA - ORD tomorrow and have the Breakfast Sandwich or Vegan Salad option. Already submitted a complaint to AA. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah is almost as bad as what they were giving out for most of 2021.

Would you like the "Protein option" or "Vegetarian Salad"? I asked what the FA recommended and she said "I like the protein. It's a steak sandwich and it's pretty good."

Given the experience with the turkey sandwich, I'm shockingly pleased to say that this "steak" sandwich (really more like roast beef) was extremely tasty! It had good flavor and the bread was fresh and not soggy. The salad was fresh with a nice sundried tomato on it. It would have been a lot easier to eat on a tray instead of in the box, but given how this all tasted good and fresh and not soggy, I probably shouldn't complain too much!

I wonder if this would be served on my flight AUS-ORD as well, it is 42 miles shorter but also on E75.

5/3 JFK-LAS. 738 with PHX crew. Full PDB.

Drinks before dinner

Chicken with baked potatoes. Baked potatoes were strangely good. Chick meh.

New 2200+ miles. Same old things, just brought out separately.

My first AA meal flights in a while, these are options for ORD-SEA dinner and SEA-ORD lunch. Any recommendations?

First time being able to pre order on LAX/MIA in quite some time... But I am not seeing special meals.. Anyone else seeing that also? No option for any special meals. I thought once pre order came back then by default so did special meals. Especially on the daily 77W for that premium route.

AA 2772 JFK-AUS
Dinner

Apparently the FA didn't get the memo about removing the foil, etc. No PDB, no hot towels, no dessert. Entire service pretty perfunctory. FAs were masked and gloved so I wonder if they took the decision to work under Covid rules.

And voilà...

I'm not one to write to AA for small things, but I'd let them know about this one.

I was back on board flight 382 to Boston yesterday and thought I would share the experience. I was dropped off at Flagship Check-In and then escorted to the front of a fairly long pre-check line. Upon entering the Flagship Lounge, I was offered a glass of champagne which I accepted with thanks. Left for gate 42A at 1425. Boarding had just started when I reached the gate, so I quickly boarded and plopped myself in seat 1A. At the seat were the usual amenities including a Shinola kit, headphones, bottled water, menu, and two types of bedding. The PDB was pretty much whatever you wanted so I opted for a glass of champagne. Pushback from the gate occurred at 1455 and we were soon on our way to Boston. Lunch service began about 45 minutes into the flight. The spicy tortilla soup was served hot, and it really hit the spot. For my main course, I had pre-selected the Beef Bolognese and it turned out to be surprisingly good. This time I saved room for dessert and tried the ginger toffee cake. It was served with vanilla bean ice cream and was delicious. I really had to restrain myself from licking the plate. After dinner I did some reading and took a short nap. We arrived in Boston about 30 minutes ahead of schedule. All in all, this was another great flight with an attentive and friendly cabin crew.

The tray in three-class F, and the capitulation to FA laziness it represents, continues to be a disgrace.

Glad to hear somebody likes 'em -- I find the cake way too dry. Would much rather have the brownie (or, better yet, warm cookies back).

Fried goat cheese. yes please !!! Darn it i missed this appetizer. And that soup is better than the butternut squash soup that is pretty one note and boring . I think the veg entre on that menu is pretty weak, perfect time to go Asian Veg if it was me All looks good though. I gotta try that cake next time, its just hard to skip the sundae.

You are correct, sir. Neither are great options, but for me, the smoked salmon is the lesser of two evils.
