I was in the AC lounge at JFK the other day and was really unimpressed. The drinks were overpriced and no drink tickets were offered. Very little amenities, including just some water, iced tea, pretzels, and some nuts. The club was sooo crowded! I was pretty annoyed and didn't enjoy it at all. Not sure what some of your other experiences were but this was the AC next to the flagship lounge. Not the other AC lounge down by the domestic departures.

- Executive Platinum or Oneworld Emerald flying Internationally in any cabin
- International flight in Oneworld Three Class First
- JFK-LAX/SFO, MIA-LAX in Three Class First
That's it. I'm not sure what you mean by "World Elite card"

No. This is when you can use the Flagship Lounge:
- Executive Platinum or Oneworld Emerald flying Internationally in any cabin
- International flight in Oneworld Three Class First
- JFK-LAX/SFO, MIA-LAX in Three Class First

I am in F on the noon JFK-LAX flight. From what I can see, the FL lounge should be dead before that flight. There are no other LAX or SFO or international flights for hours. So unless someone gets there hours before their flight, it should just be a few people from my flight in the FL.
Am I correct with this observation?

Yes. FL is pretty quiet around mid-day. It becomes very busy by 3-4pm with the afternoon transcons and early evening European departures.

Also remember, you may use the FL lounge upon your arrival at LAX.

I'm traveling on Air Berlin in business class on a JFK-TXL flight this August.. I'm also an Admirals Club member through the Citi World Elite AA Card. Are there any other lounges at JFK that I have access to besides the two AA lounges that are better?

Sorry, the only lounges at Terminal 8 are the Admirals Clubs (and the Flagship Lounge).
There are other OW lounges at Terminal 7, but you would need a boarding pass to clear security in that terminal, or be connecting from one of the airlines that arrives there either domestic or with pre-clearance.
