My 10/21 flights (not posting date) did not clear on this sweep (domestic on AA metal); so I guess there is a gray area in which flights cleared probably related to the actual posting date.

Bummer, perhaps since my route took me to Canada (on AA metal), however, it always seems AA treats Canada and the Caribbean as domestic.:
10/21/09 AMERICAN AIRLINES 1418 Y DFW AUS 183 817 1,000
10/21/09 AMERICAN AIRLINES 328 Y YYZ DFW 1,199 1,199 2,398

That posted for me per my Excel verification.

Mine posted too - Now at 118.3k EQP, 195.3k EQM and 65 EQS. If my flights after 10/21 had been included, I'd be at 206.1k EQM...

The bonus SWUs will be real appreciated -- I've been doing way too much international travel...

I'd say so.....

For clarification, there's only one extra bump for SWUs at 125k right. It's not like UAL where you get extra for every 50k over? Also, at 125k don't you get your choice of two gifts, like AC membership and extra SWUs. I was under the assumption you can't stack the double gift (like double additional SWUs or 2yr AC)?

All awards (for EXP's only) MAY be doubled, EXCEPT the AC Membership.

(See the last paragraph under the FAQ/Terms and Conditions right under the chart.)

Yes, AFAIK there's only one goal after 100k which is the 125k bonus. Despite this, I compulsively check for sweeps to run and miles post even though I am already at 150k eqm. I suspect like many FTers, I should take an SSRI and get a real life!

Did you see something somewhere that said that? As it goes against the published T&Cs, something to that effect could be problematic. Conflicting information like that should be reported to AA to avoid confusion going forward.

Cheers.

When DBLEQ bonus miles are posted.

Howdy, I apologize if this info has already been posted.

I was trying to figure out what miles had and hadn''t been posted to my account, because I couldn't figure out a combination of bonuses for my flights this month that added up to my current EQM.

So I called up AA, and they send me over to the PLT desk to get straightened out. So: everything up to 10/14 got bonuses added. The question then became, when would the flights I am taking the rest of this year post their bonuses so I could know exactly when I crossed over into EXP land.

The nice lady on the phone dug around a bit, then told me that the next time bonus miles would be posted is 10/28, and the last time miles would be posted is 01/02.

So that bad news is my MSP-DFW-FRA-ORD-MSP run on 10/28-10/29 won't put me over the top for EXP. Oh well, I'm doing MSP-DFW-FRA-DFW-MSP for days later to spend the weekend in Berlin, and that will take care of it.

But the good news is that bonus miles will get posted for all the DBEQM people in time for us to get the reward. So watch your account like a hawk on 01/02, and make sure those miles get posted.

Now the question I forgot to ask: will those bonus miles be credited to 2009 or 2010? 2010 would be very nice, because it gives us a head start in EQM for next years status.

Not EXP yet though...
I made EXP earlier this week before the double miles posted. It took an overnight batch job to show "Executive Platinum" on the AA.com site after my EQM went over 100,000.

The way I read it, you can choose 2 of any of the items, except the one year Admirals Club membership. So, you could select (2) of the 2-VIPs for a total of 4, or (2) 25,000 miles for a total of 50,000. Based on the new copay for ovesrseas mileage UGs, the SWUs are the hands down best value for EXPs at 125K unless you never fly overseas.

My 10/20 flight posted, but my 10/22 flight did not (domestic, AA metal).
