Well, I am in the ORD AC and everything to LGA is running late. I thought the odds of me getting on an earlier flight to LGA and remaining in F was less then 3.14%. But the AC Angel got me on a flight leaving in 45 minutes in F. Sometimes the math just works magically.

Of course, in many Anglophone nations, that means you have had too much to drink.

An alternative name for this thread could be "The Patented Up-Check™ Request Thread."

Upgrade Chance

I am flying from LAX-IAD in O class and back from EWR-LAX S class if I use 500 mile upgrades what are my chances? or could I upgrade with miles without a co pay that will be confirmed right away

You'd have to consult the HNL Upcheck© system to determine your odds. Nobody really knows the odds of your upgrade clearing.

Mileage upgrades now require a $50 co-pay, but if A inventory is available, then your upgrade could be confirmed right now.

Great question - not even a hint of what time of day, what day of week, nada, just a "gaze into your crystal ball and tell me..." I predict the quality and reliability of replies you get here will be directly proportional to the data you have provided.

I think you have over-estimated the quality and reliability of the replies that will appear.

Btw, might I remind the OP that there is a consolidated thread on this topic?

Only on the EWR-LAX segment. S fares allow cuteness as one of the decision factors, O fares do not.
