Henry Cisneros

Former mayor of San Antonio and HUD Secretary under Clinton.

November 3: AA #1875 DFW-SAT Seated in first class. As he boarded ahead of me he thought someone was in his seat. Rather than ask the passenger he held up the line and politely insisted that the FA intervene. Turns out he was wrong and his seat was unoccupied.

I presume he was returning from the Democratic functions in Boston.

(Hi, Studley! )

Now the number one sighting of all time. I flew next to Tiny Tim on a flight from GRR to MSP. He was complaining to me about some new brown shoes he was wearing. Perhaps that is how he hit all those high notes, may he rest in peace.

Gerald Ford

Yes I know he's already been mentioned. But I flew LAX-JFK in April 2002 in J with him in F. It became obvious about a half hour before boarding that there was a celeb coming from the buzz among the GA's. The icing was that we made it to JFK in 3 hours 55 minutes that night, fastest tail winds I ever experienced. Sure it was a coincidence.

Flight 21 JFK-LAX... Sitting in 3A, Mena Suvari from "American Beauty" and "American Pie". She's really a little, tiny thing. During the 5 hour flight, she went to the bathroom about 10 times! I was in 7D. Not many people recognized her.

Terry Bradshaw Nov. 13

AA2421 DFW-LAX Seat 2G. I was in 1G with my wife in 1D. I didn't know for sure until we were outside waiting for the Avis bus and my wife asked, "Did you see who was behind you?" I had seen him coming out of the lav but it didn't register that it was him. He was wearing a baseball cap, jeans, a T-shirt and glasses. I really wished I would have realized it was him. We had crossed paths before, but he didn't know it. Back in the early 90s some time, my wife brought my dry cleaning home and we had an extra sport coat which was WAY too big for me. The tag said "T. Bradshaw". We both said, "Nah." When my wife took it back to the cleaners, she asked, "That's not Terry Bradshaw is it?" The owner said, "Yes. He's a customer. He has a ranch out north of here. Thanks for bringing it back."

Arrow Bob Woodward

Spotted while taking one of those annoying "mobile lounges" at IAD. He was with middle-aged woman and a young girl. I am not sure if this is his child (the girl was probably 8 years old) or grand-child. He had 3 BPs for British Airways flight to LHR.

I sat next to Dennis Eckersley from PVD to ORD the week of the World Series and next to 80's hair band singer Vince Neil a few months ago. I have had a slew of stars that i have seen here is my list: Brad Faxon, Larry Bird, Susan Sarandon, Nicole Kidman, Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold (probably one of the best flights I have ever been on as I laughed for hours on end) and also Patrick Kennedy.

Ringo Starr and his wife Barbara Bach were on AA/37 LHR-LAX today, seated in F. I saw them unescorted at the FLL, then they showed up on their own at the gate without escort. They were the first off the plane at LAX, met by an agent. I spoke to the agent later at the FLL and she said that he then had problems at immigration with his work visa... they didn't check any luggage or carry much on, either.

Andy Summers in F on a flight from MIA to LAX this morning. Looked tired. No one seemed to recognize him. Thought of saying hi and telling him how I appreciated his work, but decided against it. Being recognized is bound to get old after a while.

(for the youngsters in the forum, Andy Summers was the guitarist of a band called The Police. This was back in the old days when performers sang and played their instruments in concerts)

I don't think I would recognize a washed up guitar player from an early 80s group either.

Now if it was Sting, that would be different.

I saw her Friday night walking through the terminal at LAX.
