Re:

Data Point: I only was able to utilize the promo four times. My rentals were on 9/1, 9/7, 9/14, and 9/15. Only the first rental receipt on 9/1 did not show the 3,050 partner miles or the $4.05 FF fee. Below are post dates to date.

- On 9/10, only 50 miles posted from 9/1 rental. I called Avis and they submitted claim.
- On 9/17 (today) both 3,050 miles posted to AA account from the 9/1 & 9/7 rentals. Looks like Avis came thru on claim. Now waiting for this last weekend rentals to hit in 10 days or so. Now I am kicking myself for only 4 rentals and 12k miles.

That's especially bothersome if you did multiple rentals on same day@ same location as the rental receipt has a completely different # from the rez # and no way u can figure out from AA's site which rental(s) posted for that day.

That's nice of them, and seems to be going the extra mile(s). I would think this is about Avis and on their watch, so to speak.

I'm guessing you talked w/ AAdvantage Customer Service, eh? Avis claims the process can take 60-90 days, which is up from their original 30 days.

That's right, and I called Avis numerous times - each time the answer is consistent - Avis has already transferred all miles to AA.

I had two rentals on 9/7 (one in the morning and the other in the evening) and one on 9/8. Today I had the following posted:

09/08/12 AVIS BONUS MILES 3,000
09/08/12 AVIS 1 DY SAN JOSE APO CA 50
09/07/12 AVIS BONUS MILES 3,000
09/07/12 AVIS 1 DY SAN JOSE APO CA 50

Anyone has a similar issue?

Don't despair. My 2-day LAX rental on 8/10 still hasn't posted.

I used USAA AWD instead of AA AWD K817165 to rent the car on Aug 24th. Miles haven't posted. Called Avis, the agent said since it's a USAA discount code I won't be able to get the miles. Anyone else has the similar issue?

That's possible. Why not use K817165? This is the safest code as it was advertised on promotion page. Is USAA code much cheaper than K817165?

I used USAA AWD for 8 rentals, 4 have posted, 2 haven't and 2 were from last weekend so I don't think the sweep has occurred for them yet.

I can't speak for guoguo914 but I use the USAA AWD for the insurance benefits provided.

On your receipts, if they show:

(2) No miles but FF tax, you should be fine;

(3) No miles and [no] FF tax, that's it, tuition paid, miles won't be deposited to your AA account.

So in this case, if OP's receipt doesn't have FF tax, he won't receive those miles, most likely.
Still incorrect!!! I was not charged FF tax on any of my 5 LAX (one-day) rentals in August, had no mileage earning show up on any form of the receipt, and yet I earned 3050 miles for 4 of the 5 so far (and the 5th is on the "limbo weekend" that has effected everyone, not just me).

+1. I have a hand-signed letter that states miles will be deposited on a "future statement," and an E-mail that says it can take up to 90 days.
