By the way, that internet site of the unions is fun to read.
I also found this, a concept they came up with to re-create a vintage product, replicating the Super Constellation days on board a dedicated sub-fleet, with dedicated staff, planes, uniforms, etc. Think of it what you like: https://www.sngaf.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/PARISIEN-SPECIAL-1.pdf

Nice. Now make sure it actually goes to places (and not just a few).
But of course, let's see if and how this really happens. This wouldn't be the first time that AF changes its mind on something. And there have been numerous instances of new cabin layouts taking literally ages to actually happen. Just think of the time it takes to identify potential suppliers of the seat/ send an RFP / get the offers / negotiate / discuss with Airbus / get the regulator to authorise the seat / get the green light from the cabin attendants that the thickness of the carpet is sufficient to not cause unexpected wearing off of their shoes and friction in their socks and who would pay for the crème réparateur for their feet / re-discuss in the executive committee if they should really do it / re-issue the RFP because the first supplier has gone bust in the meantime / re-select the supplier / re-discuss with Airbus / fend of a strike by the flight attendants who boycott all domestic flights from Lyon because management does not allow Flight Attendant union leaders to book the Salon Premiere for private meetings at short notice for their exclusive use and kick out all passengers but keep all kitchen and service staff at their disosal / go into a two year consultation process with the Elysee and the French Foreign Ministry about whether offering P class to Djibouti, Nouakchott and Bangui is really needed / by the time all of that is done the next global economic crisis is on and Air France will debate for two years whether Premiere is really needed.

The page is still there, it's the FT link that is broken.

Anyone have a status update on the meal service? Deciding between LX and AF for my next SFO trip and the price difference of roughly $1k (in favor of AF) might compel me to make the switch if the service is otherwise pretty much close to normal.

The main difference is that LP lounge in CDG is still closed which makes the stopover not as nice as before.
Will be flying to MEX in P this sunday, I will report if any difference except that A380 is now replaced 777
