It's ok. I find if I put an extra blanket down as a mattress pad, and two pillows I get decent sleep. (last week was the 767 SEA-LHR)
The seat is a bit tight, but if you are not super tall (I'm only 5'10") it's really not problematic. If you are very tall, it will be an uncomfortable "squeeze."
I much prefer the A330 (used to fly that all the time to/from AMS); have no real opinion about the 777 or 747 on Delta.
The DL 757 transatlantic version ("lie-flat") is actually very good, even though no direct aisle access. Had a great flight PHL-LHR in January, and that aircraft also features live TV, which I find novel (mostly because I seldom watch TV).

Yeah I'd love to go to the pacific, but I can't get off work that long. I have looked at trying to get on SN A388 KJFK-EDDF. They hare having a big sale on business class seats. My problem there is one of connections (KATL - KJFK - EDDF - LIRN). Even if we stay a night in Frankfurt or something, that's a ton of flying to get to the Amalfi Coast, especially when you live in a city that is home to the busiest airport in the world with a ton of nonstop international destinations.
Glad you bring up DL One. We have flown the One product on a 763 Intl route before (ATL - LIM). Delta is running a 764 and a 763 to LFPG during this timeframe (so there are four total flights, two DL two AF).
Since we have flown on the 76 One seats (which, are okay) I am trying to land either the new AF seats or Delta One's A330 seats as mentioned above. Neither seems to be an option, and it seems like if we want to go sometime between June to September, it's the crappy NEV4 on the oldest AF 77W cabin or the blah Delta One 764 cabin.
Regardless, I GREATLY appreciate everyone's input. Keep it coming.

The DL777 seats are the oldest lie flats in the fleet (though suspicions are they'll be replaced soon). A bit more leg room than the DL767 but less lateral room (no side table). Some people have preferences one way or the other, I'd personally pick them both over NEV4.
FWIW, FT tends to use IATA, not ICAO, abbreviations (so ATL-JFK-FRA-NAP). I suspect few people will know what (eg) EDDF is without looking it up.

Do the BEST cabins have aisle access for every seat?

I fly DeltaOne on the 767 often (it's the plane of choice at LHR), actually just arrived this morning on DL58.

I'll try your tip next time i happen to fly on a 767! I usually am lucky enough to get a row 1 window seat which is quite private so it helps on the experience though it definitely can be tight sometimes. Next time i am flying Delta i will try to route on an A330 to try it out.

The DL747 seats are identical to the DL330 seats, and therefore similar to AF BEST. Since it's a 747 it automatically wins as best available option

Quick update for anyone interested: LH flies an A340 daily to FRA. Like AF, you can get a simple 2H layover in the hub city and fly to NAP (or theoretically, wherever you want to go in Europe). The entire LH long haul fleet has received their new Business Class product and it's a great option for couples traveling together (with a modern take on the 2-2-2). Their fares have dropped recently and match those of AF. So, as long as AF continues the 77W with the dreaded NEV4, it's a no brainer IMO: DL or LH.
That said, as Goldorak kindly reminded me above, AF is launching the 789 October 2nd. We are having to push our June trip to late September or October, so there is a good chance our luck could change dramatically and get the newest business seats on the newest plane. Stay tuned.

FYI: as of today, AF no longer flying 789 to ATL in October. From Routesonline:
Air France in this week’s schedule update has modified planned 787-9 service entry on Paris CDG – Bamako – Abidjan route, previously scheduled from 29OCT17. The service entry is now scheduled on 09OCT17, 3 weeks earlier than planned.
AF520 CDG1000 – 1345BKO1445 – 1625ABJ 789 D
AF521 ABJ1830 – 2010BKO2210 – 0550+1CDG 789 D
As a result of this aircraft adjustment, planned 787-9 service on Paris CDG – Atlanta AF688/689 from 02OCT17 to 28OCT17, is now cancelled. Boeing 777-200ER/-300ER will continue to operate this flight.

As much as I hate NEV4 seats (which I absolutely loved before the new Delta One seats), I still prefer a NEV4 over a Delta One seat on a 767-300/400 for a day flight (and even for a short flight like JFK/BOS-CDG). Remember that a few years ago it was NEV2 and NEV3 that everyone tried to avoid and were always looking for the NEV4 equipment.

Semi OT: Air Caraïbes has recently launched its A350 on the ORY-FDF/PTP route. Their new business class features fully flat seats in a 2x2x2 config.
With its decision to keep their 2x3x2 NEV4 77W for CIO destinations, AF is certainly making a great gift to the competition.
Edit: just read the BlueBiz newsletter stating that Best cabins are being deployed on CAY. I am lost: are they deploying new J on CIO eventually?

I don't think CAY is a real COI route, it used to be served by an A340 with usual business class of 30-40 seats. Also, it is more a business destination (arianespace) than a mass tourism destination. Perhaps from time to time it was operated with a COI aircraft, but normally it is not.

But we should not forget the control exerted on AF by the French State. There must be an agreement between Arianespace and the State to provide top-quality service to CAY, an unpleasant destination for Frecn, German, .. workers.
