This is an update of the same document already posted by Delanotre (Many thanks) and dated 22 September 2014. The differences that I could detect:
- Delay in retrofitting the 4-class 77W. This was supposed to be done by the end of 2015 but now postponed to end-2016.
- 5 777 were ready end-2014 as opposed to 7 originally planned on 22 September. 27 should be ready by end-2015 as opposed to 31. This will be a tough year with 22 planes being retrofitted. This is fast by AF standard, even if slow by other airlines' standards. Only 17 ac scheduled for retrofit in 2016 but I would be that AF will postpone some of the retrofits from 2015 to 2016.
In terms of planned destinations, there has been a few changes. It is hard to compare the documents because the old one gave schedules for March 2015, while the new one gives schedules up to October 2015. Some observations:
- In America, Boston has disappeared. Toronto, Vancouver, LAX have been added.
- In Asia and Africa, they are adding many destinations, but not Hong Kong.
That makes me very upset and mean I will keep not flying AF for a couple of years.

Oh sorty I missed that. Do they get any better or is it still comfortable for seating and bad for sleeping?
Did anyone report on them?

My understanding is that the Y seats are completely new (now made by Zodiac), but the PE seats are the same with very minor adjustments.

Frankly, it is very disappointing. The difference between the corporate/press communication (we invest a lot in the product) and the pace of cabin upgrades is just ridiculous.
I would imagine growing complaints by people who bought the BEST experience (based upon advertisments, press releases and website) and had the NEV experience, and I do believe that these differences are the most significant for the J cabin. Being in a full BEST for a 12-hour flight seat is a very different than being stuck in the infamous middle seat of the 2-3-2 section in a 777.
LH recently upgraded their cabins. As a comparison, what was the pace of this change?

I was talking with a AFKL local staff tonight and she is quite unhappy. AF used to have two 777 most days. They moved to a single A380 and now that single flight is operated by a 77W most days, with poor premium yield. In the meanwhile CX has moved to 2 77W most days.
On the other hand KL is running a daily 744 with flat beds and is quite successful against the daily CX 77W.

It's just a better cushioning but no change for the recline, so still very uncomfortable for sleeping. I tried it at Grand Palais expo but never flew in it yet (I already flew once the new P and twice the new J )

QQ that I want to re-confirm, if the seatmap is showing 1-2-1 seat config, is that a safe bet that it's the new business class product?
