So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

I would have been all over that move to PY at that price, esp from cheap Tango fare. A solid product for a 10 hr flight.

Europe flex books into V, not M. Unless they have changed the rules recently, which would make me buy one instantly.

Both were on the 767

Got $170 for YYC YVR but declined. Thought it may be op-up date but it didn't work out.

Ac 007 yvr-hkg

AC 7 YVR-HKG, May 16.

LMU offered at check-in (approx. T-23, in my case).

$979 + taxes. Great deal - best I've seen in quite a long time. ^

Declined, as I have a few trips yet to be booked later this year.

From Tango fare:

AC1110 YQR-YYZ $340 - declined
AC848 YYZ-LHR $1,247 - accepted. I had decided I'd accept up to $1,200. Close enough.

(Do LMUs get departure and arrivals lounge access? That would be nice.)

You'll be ok with lounge access since you'll be holding a J ticket even though technically "original fare rules apply"
