So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.
Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.
It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.
Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

YVR-YYZ AC 162 (77W) Tango $799. Pass sitting in PE With the free preferred seats, looking forward to trying it out.
YYZ-BOG AC 962 (763) Tango $699. Pass. Would've been nice but can't justify that price when the fare was 850 return.
Both flights are wide open, fwiw.

YOW - YYZ $129. Accepted
Maybe it's not that good of a deal, but it felt better than paying to check a bag!

Woah! That's crazy when you don't even get meal service and for such a short flight. I won't even pay the extra $10 to upgrade from a regular E- seat to a preferred seat YOW-YYZ.

A brief meal service will be offered on this route (at least it has been offered to me in the past).

Saw the earlier post about the $249 offer IAH YYC. Thought it would be nice connecting off of a long DME IAH flight so I asked a friend to check us in online at the T-24 mark (was 00:10 Moscow time). The offer was $219 (!) USD per person from Flex lowest. Gladly accepted as this is a ~4h flight. True, on CRA, and no hot meal, but certainly more comfortable than Y.

Just checked in for AC217 tomorrow, tickets booked in Tango. LMU offered for $134 per person, plus taxes.
Rejected. I could have bought a Flex fare at the time of booking for $80 per person more and had a good shot at an eUp.
Per the seatmap on AC.com (not a perfect guide, I know), Y looks pretty full, J only half full. So maybe a chance at an op-up...

$649 from Tango
Rejected of course
This seems to be the typical rate on this route- amazing that anyone would accept

I fly this route a lot, and I don't think I've ever seen anything less than $4000 offered. LHR-YYZ is pretty much a money sink in all aspects (reward tickets, etc).

AC204 YVR-YYC this morning, offered at $170 from Tango. Rejected.
J was full, although at least two deadheads.

I never have trouble getting reward seats for pretty much any flight I want and the total charges have come down to $69 to LHR and around $350 for the return in J
