Bummer.
I crossed the 100k line yesterday for the first time ever flying SA from DAR to JNB. Miles haven't posted yet, but when they do I should be at 100,075 miles and 50 segs with 50,507 and 26 of those on AC. My travel is very geographically spread and had to work a bit to hit the 50k AQM minimum.

Total miles 100,088. Dashboard says,
You've reached a higher Altitude status.
Beginning early next year, you will be bumped up to your new level of privileges.

The Air Canada Early Status Recognition Thread
I still haven't received the note on my dashboard about reaching a higher Altitude status. I'm confused as to why I have not especially since I had my 95th AQS post in early November. I'm now sitting at 97 AQS and hoping it's not a glitch for not getting the notification.

I think it depends on what you mean by "sweep". Once the Early Recognition (and early start of status) deadline has passed, they start notifying people of the status they WILL get when the year begins in March. If the status has stayed the same or decreased, the previous status continues until then. If the status increased due to travel in the last few weeks, it likely starts in March, though small benefits may begin. One year I went up after Early Recognition, and got nothing but a hearty congratulations, and had to slum it at my previous status in January and February.

I crossed the 100k mark on Nov 14th, miles posted on Nov 17th and I was asked to select SE100k privileges for 2016 around Dec 2nd or 3rd (can't locate the email).

Fly 5 segments between now and December 31. For many people on the forum, that's a day's recreation. The P25K benefits are pretty minimal, so if you only fly 11,000 miles in a year, are you sure it's worth worrying about?
