Aside from only getting Aeroplan updates when I login/logout of the app, today I wasn't able to find Calgary on the list of origins when looking up flight status. I could find it as a destination though, and then hit the swap origin/destination button. Quite strange, I just figured it was AC showing that they really are leaving YYC to Westjet.

I'm still seeing a ton of cancelled bookings in the app on Android 5.29.2. It's really challenging to view "my booking" when I have two YVR-SFO appearing on the 31st, two TPE-SFO on the 4th, two AUH-SFO mid-month, etc.

Same here. I should have 8 bookings in the app, but I have 33. The 25 that shouldn't be there are a healthy mix of past bookings, cancelled bookings, and someone else's bookings that didn't clear when I logged out of their account.

It's annoying if the list is crowded with useless bookings. It's going to cost me money if I accidentally no-show something I thought I cancelled.

I still cannot do a seat change on the app ,get a -7 error
Very annoying as I have to SSO to the website every time (which I get) but shouldn't need so much work just to change seats

That suggests there's a problem with your booking rather than the app. You should consider running it through the PNR viewer cowtool and calling in if need be.
