If only every airport had something like that!
This is an awesome find, Adam. Managed to get 20 holes in the early 2010s filled. Any other gems? )

Not specifically AC, but the Toronto airport log is an #AvGeek nirvana.

But if anyone has any further details, I'd love to hear them.
All I can offer is what I flew Oct. 2001.

Just the CP DC-10s.

Most likely 970.
Most of the CP trans cons were 900 series.
All the CP trans cons I flew in the '90s were 9xx.

Thanks, it was definitely 970. I ended up finding someone who was selling an old copy of the timetable from about that time and they looked it up for me.

I never knew that your real name used to be "Zadam".

Given the prevalence of various alphabetically-sorted lists, I understand why you changed it.

I am travelling to Cambridge Bay later this year, hope I can get to fly those 40 years old B732.

I was surprised at how much direct flights places like Cambridge Bay and Resolute Bay used to get.

Alright I stumbled across an old boarding pass from back when they were a yellow/neonish type colour. Is there any way to determine the year? It's for a flight operated by Jazz (well Canadian Regional Airlines), AC8604 from YYZ-YFC in March sometime between 2002 and 2005 I believe. The boarding pass stock was printed in 2001 according to the label on the back, but I'm not sure how long that stock lasts for.

Anyone have a schedule for 2002-04 to check the sked times for this flight?

The CP DC10's were 2-5-2. I remember a trip from LHR-YYC in 1998 where I was in the middle of the 5. I had a 2 couples on either side of me who were seniors who wanted to chat the whole trip. By the time we got to YYC I would have paid a great deal for a roll of duct tape to keep them quiet.

1998 pilot strike - request for info

Here is a long shot... I am trying to find which airline I flew on as a replacement for Air Canada leaving YVR on 12 Sep 1998. It was during the pilots strike and the flight was to LHR. It looks like both Canadian and BA had flights that day. I know Air Canada bought up seats on 15 airlines apparently. Does anyone remember if Air Canada did a deal with one or both Canadian and British Airways during that period.

Its only 24 years ago!!

I am very keen to find out what we would have been moved to, as Canadian was a DC-10 and BA a 747-200.

I wonder if anyone can assist.

Thanks.
