NOTE: Rouge Wifi information can be found here

Dates in brackets indicate planned start of rouge service (either as a new route or replacing mainline service). ML placed before a date indicates the date that service is reverting to mainline.
All Airbus A319/A321 service is in the new Premium Rouge configuration with 2x2J seats. All other routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft in a 24J/258Y layout.
Airport codes in blue indicate that these routes are Boeing 767-300ER aircraft for all services.
Airport codes in red indicate that these routes are split between Boeing 767-300ER and Airbus services.
Airport codes in black indicate that these routes are Airbus aircraft for all services.
Routes are organized based on the established rouge bases of YYZ, YUL, YYC, and YVR

I didn't think AC owned any of their planes- thought they were all leased?

for the 777s they started using the new EETC, that seems to be popular now (BA, US and a few others have done the same).

Also this link will help see which are leased:

Not sure that's a viable option for them ... I took Ben's comments to mean they have a very flexible arrangement w/ Boeing and can defer deliveries without much (any) penalty. You might be right, though.
Either way, I found comfort in it as an investor b/c I can't get my head around how fast AC's system ASMs are rising ...

Everyone here loves to go on about the "retirements" of the 67s. That plan is basically canceled on any substantive basis. They're going to fly the things till they can't fly anymore. But it also means that because thats their peak/surge/good economy capacity, they can just park them with no cost if things sour.
As to where the passengers are coming from. 1.) Canada -> Intl is underserved at the low end. 2.) The United States -> International 3.) Stealing market share from competitors on routes IE YUL-> CDG, YVR ->LAX (which they've gone from being a nobody bit player to market leader on... rouge is failing I tell yah, so badly AS slashed their service... Delta/American don't wantcha they only wantcha to connect to their INTL.)

No. Its them parking 67s is what the case would be.

To Asia AA only serves NRT and PVG direct from LAX.
The only other useful connection point LAX would be for is HNL.
Tell me about this good international connectivity with regards to AA?
(why would DFW/ORD not be a better option for that?)
If I want to go to LAX I would pick (in order), given equal fares,
AA
AS
UAx
DL
WS
All of the above, in the same order, with a connection

I was checking my itinerary for an upcoming trip to Nashville early next year and although the flights are still shown as CRJ and operated by ZX (Air Georgian), they have the Rouge logo beside the flight numbers. What do you think the significance of that is? CRJ are tight. Maybe they belong in Rouge!

Falling down laughing at this headline on the front page of FT
"JetBlue Adding Checked Bag Fees, Cutting Down on Legroom"
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/jetbl...rbus-more.html
The thread comments read like a bit of a tamer version of things over here in AC Central. Oh the outrage
