And yet another booking when I am not proposed to use my points during the paiement process, despite the rate allowing it and the hotel participating.

The bug affecting the number of qualyfiing nights for 2017 has apparently been solved. My number of nights is now correct.

Having a Plat guarantee booking problem again. This time with the Playford in Adelaide. Won't allow me to book the 11th March.

Called the hotel (It's a MGallery) now during office hours. Got switched through to reservations. Explained to them that I am a Platinum member.

1. Sorry we are full
2. Sorry we are full
3. That (Plat guarantee) doesn't apply to us as we are a franchise hotel.
4. Let me see what I can do... (5 seconds later).. OK, I have a room for you

Rate is.... (ended up for 4 nights being $300 more than the ibis).... and we will also make sure we upgrade you to a suite.

Wie bitte? OK...Let's proceed. Thank you.

I mean, I'm happy with the outcome... but WHY?! Why is it so difficult?!

and they have no from, then suddenly one and they tell you they will upgrade you to a suite, so another room available. Hard to understand...

I just booked two stays on Accorhotel website, but none of the two booking is showing up under my bookings...

But it can make a difference, depending on how the contracts were drawn up, which is why hotels don't even participate in the program, like the Coffs Harbour Novotel. Hope you like Adele, given her concert is the reason Adelaide is so busy.

Aaaah. I thought it was just due to WOMAD. Well we watched Adele in the LCAH lounge last year in Paris.. And that can't be beat.
